A&W Canada — Restaurant in Township of Langley

I couldn’t be more annoyed with this location. Multiple mess ups but tonight sent me. I went at 315 am (woke up, we decided to go for snack) we waited no one said anything we said hello 3 times finally got a “hi want you want” reply… we ordered she REPEATED the order back to me. We then waited 23 minutes got the food (after saying wait 5 mins for the chicken) and checked it, it was NOT all in there. Missing a chubby chicken burger, the reason for the wait lol. There was 3 people in drive through now waiting. I went to walk in it was locked. I knocked on door I was ignored. Finally she looked over and I mouthed “missing burger” plus she seen it was our car. She said go to the window. We went to window my finace walked up and she said “no you didn’t order it” UGH. Then I called and explained everything again she said “ok come back” well I’m not waiting in the line with 3 cars after mine took 23mins. Not even a “oh here next time you come in” my point being the old staff was great! This new staff should not be in customer service. SOOO rude in person. (The whole wait was for the chicken burger we never got, ironic)

What’s so annoying is they act like YOU made a mistake instead of taking accountability and fixing the problem. Hoping you just leave.

Sunday June...

Awfully run. I've been here probably 4 times. The first was an unremarkable visit, the second was with my family where we waited a very long time (10-15 minutes) for our order in-restaurant. The third I went in myself, and it took almost 15 minutes again....there was a whole bunch of very irritated customers around, including one guy who said he'd been waiting almost 20 minutes. When I got my order, they forgot the drink. Last time was a drive-thru visit....I waited about 5-6 full minutes in a long line up of cars, saw no movement, did a u-turn and went to McDonalds. I was driving out with my food from McDonalds and could see that the line still did not move. Avoid at all costs, A&W is a great company just go give your business to another, properly run franchisee.

UPDATE: Forgot about my most recent visit last week. I guess I repressed the memory. I went to the drive-thru at about 11 PM (yes, late). Ordered a beyond burger. Was told it would be 10 minutes to cook the patty. Said ok no, how about the chicken burger. 6-7 minutes. Yeah no....what can I have now. A teen burger? Great, I'll take that. It took almost 10 minutes, the teen burger was a mess. The fries were hot and fresh though, thank god for...

Order was wrong and cold , I ordered a classic breakfast with pancakes instead of toast , with a side of bacon , and tea with 2 milk , i didn't see the side of bacon on my side of the screen so i said a side of bacon again , he said yes , i brought the bacon up again saying i done see it on my side he said i see it on my side , so i left it at that . When i was watching my order being made i could see my pancakes sitting on a plate while they made the eggs and bacon , clearly they were going to be cold , when food was ready there was no side of bacon , so had to pay and wait a bit for that to be put on my plate , when i sat down my thoughts on pancakes being cold was right butter didn't melt , opened my cup to have my tea and what do you no milk , now i leave my food walk up to get milk , the lady took her time in stead of just handing me some milk because they screwed up , she was talking to the cook filld an oreder in a bag then went out side to deliver the order to a waiting car , as my food got even colder , because i had no extra time t return my order and complain , i finished it and left , i will not be going back to this place again , poor...
