was hoping the new facility would have a better dinning experience. not freezing in the winter and cooking in the summer. unfortunately it did not . we were a large party of 12 and we were placed at a table of 6 / table of 4 and a table of 2(due to covid regs 6 per table ) although there was a large table of 6 available right beside us and was vacant when we arrived and vacant when we left. something as simple as chicken strips showed up to two of our party one piece partially cooked and the rest raw sent it back and they redid but it returned still not great ./ inedible one of my other parties had chicken cordon blue and it was the opposite- very dry . and another had a steak and it was supposed to be medium rare and it came well done / and they ran out of french fry's and didn't offer to give anything different just said we ran out of fry's.
another of our party ordered calamari and it came undercooked / she didn't want to complain as the waitress was intimidating so she didn't eat it .
The pitta bread was delicious though with the dips but unfortunately our server didn't check on 2 of our 3 tables and they even went to the front to ask for refills etc and were told to go back to our seat and our waitress would come over - she never did . I then saw her and asked for refills and she snapped " I have orders to get out ". the table layout also for 2 of the tables was in an alcove/ niche like are on the kitchen side and there was no airflow in this dead space ( hot as balls) it's like the devils triangle- they put you there then forget about you . the bill came and they had charged for all the food / even the orders sent back raw . I complained to the waitress about our experience and asked if there was something that could be done at least for the raw chicken strips and she seemed hesitant until I said please send the owner over and I will speak with him .at that point she said she would go talk to the owner. she returned and said he took one order of chicken strips off.i voiced my displeasure and said I would not be returning. I paid the bill $ 156.00 plus 15% tip (I was paying for 6 people ). it's a shame I was looking forward to a great dinning experience. as well they have 2 floors and only have the lower level open . the patio experience would be better on the second floor ( just an opinion) better view /...

This was my first time visiting Adrian's restaurant. My coworker decided to bring me here as a birthday dinner! I wasn't expecting a Greek menu. Other small airports are mostly just western foods like burgers and fries. So that was a pleasant surprise upon being seated and given the menu.
When you walk in, there's a long "hall" to get to the counter to speak with someone about getting a table. On the way there is a sign with the today's specials. A new York steak and a long island iced coffee. It was my first hearing about one of those before heh.
We were greeted by a lovely young lady and charming man who brought us to our table, gave us menus and took our drink order right away. When they brought us our drinks we had enough time to peruse the menus and we got the roast lamb (around $23), and two orders of the today's special. (New York strip) around $25.
There isn't much to look at IN the restaurant, but it kept our conversation at the table going about day to day stuff. It didn't seem to take long for the dinner rush to come in and suddenly it seemed pretty loud and I was glad we got there before the rush as our seat was right at a window and not in the section of the restaurant that picks up sound like a funnel. (Or so my coworker said, this was not his first time here)
Our food was delivered and it was like a picture right out of a chef book. Beautifully plated, the aroma of the bacon mushroom sauce on the new York strip was delectable and seeing a skewer of potatoes instead of them just bundled onto a plate was nice! My partners roast lamb was soft enough it fell apart while going to pick a piece up with a fork. It came with the "usuals" a Greek dinner would come with, rice, a potato, Greek salad and then mint sauce, and tzatziki sauce. The long island iced coffee was delicious as well as the pineapple juice the others at our table got.
The waitress was amazing, checked in if we needed anything, always smiling and courteous with the table. Just watching her around other tables near us she didn't seem to change at all and it was so nice to see that she either really enjoys what she does, or is REALLY good at hiding it if she doesn't hahaha.
Will definitely go to Adrian's restaurant again! Thank you...
Read moreDuring our latest visit to Adrian's at the Airport in Langley, BC, what was anticipated to be a delightful dining experience turned out to be rather disappointing. The service we received was passable, not particularly noteworthy, but adequate for our needs. However, the main letdown of the evening was undoubtedly the food.
In the past, we've enjoyed the Greek dishes offered by Adrian's, which set our expectations high for this visit. Perhaps, in hindsight, sticking to what we knew might have been the wiser choice. This time around, we opted for different entrees, including the wild salmon and the evening special, prime rib.
The wild salmon, which on paper sounded enticing, was a far cry from what we anticipated. It arrived overcooked, lacking in flavor, and was dry to the point of being unpalatable. This was a disappointment, especially considering the potential of a well-cooked salmon dish.
The prime rib special, unfortunately, did not fare any better. The accompanying vegetables were cold and had turned to a mushy texture, detracting significantly from the dish's appeal. The Yorkshire pudding, which should have been light and airy, was tough and chewy. Moreover, the gravy had congealed, and the prime rib itself was a major letdown – overcooked, teeming with gristle, and so tough it posed a challenge to the steak knife provided.
Hoping to end our meal on a high note, we shared a dessert named Eckmeck. Regrettably, this too did not meet our expectations. The dessert was bland, and the toasted almonds that topped it were overdone and stale, adding a disappointing conclusion to our meal.
Our experience at Adrian's at the Airport was disheartening, especially given our previous positive experiences with their Greek dishes. The quality of the food on this visit was markedly below par, and it's with regret that we note the decline in what we had known as a reliable spot for a good meal. Future diners might find it prudent to stick with the restaurant's Greek menu or consider other dining options in Langley, BC, to ensure a more satisfying...
