Four cheese pizza is a thin crust pizza, shareable with two, the crust was baked to a slight crisp which enhanced the overall palatability of the mix of the acidity of the tomato. There's bocconcini which has a goat cheese like flavor with mozzarella notes which added to the overall experience. The garlic oil added to the overall taste and wasn't overly oiled. The chef did a fantastic job balancing these elements together.
The spicy chicken burger had small notes of spice which accentuates the chicken. The burger has a great balance of vegetables and was well seasoned.
The Omni burger was the highlight, the bacon was well cooked without being oily. The smash burger was correctly smashed and was well seasoned. The patty was very fresh as was the bun.
The truffle fries were spot on and amazing, the poutine was well made but the bowl style plate made the poutine suffer. If the poutine had a wider bowl, the top cheese curds would have been able to melt better. But the curds that did melt was really good.
The peach Bellini was sweet but might have been a bit too muddy for my liking, but if you prefer a more alcoholic experience, this is perfect.
Their signature drinks like the electric blue was amazing and definitely worth returning to have again.
Overall the food is really well made especially with the price point, it's clear that this establishment has put extra care in delivering quality food.
Some bonuses to note was that there is dairy free, and gluten free options, including plant based patties and plant based options for pizza too.
Final notes: A quality place, one of the only places you can get a good smash burger. I would consider this place more of a restaurant than a bar, I would consider the food too good to be considered bar food. Additionally, I believe they should advertise and highlight their smash burger as not many establishments provide smash burgers. The chicken burger is excellent and my co-reviewer even...
Read moreOmni Kitchen and Bar offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the place feels special—the owner even takes the time to introduce themselves, which adds a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. It’s a great spot for families, too, with Lego sets provided for kids to keep them entertained while they wait.
The food is a definite highlight. The double cheeseburger is pretty perfect, with a nice sear on the patty and a great bun. The truffle fries that come with it are also awesome. The chicken burger is another standout, described as nice and juicy, very fresh, and served on a delicious bun. For the little ones, the kids' mac and cheese is a hit—perfectly cooked noodles in a rich, cheesy sauce that isn’t too strong. The cheese pizza is also excellent, arriving at the table still bubbling with a great crust and the perfect amount of cheese. To drink, the mojito is a well-mixed, strong drink that’s sure to please. If you're a beer fan, the hazy IPA comes highly recommended and hits the spot. The only potential downside is that the restaurant is quite small, so it’s highly recommended that you make reservations to ensure you get a table. Despite its size, the atmosphere is great, and the location is ideal. Overall, Omni Kitchen and Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for a...
Read moreI am honestly so shocked to see the reviews on this place as high as they are. We visited for a celebration and well we had a blast in each others company this place was not it. Our reservation for 1:00 we weren’t sat till 1:40 ( oh well we can handle this) we order our drinks and everything is fine, place our food orders and well over 45 minutes passes, the restaurant empties out and we are one of two tables at this point. Once our food comes to our table it is cold and dry, but we complement the flavours and say it is what it is. What happens next was the nail in the coffin, we were sat right below the heating unit and it happens to turn on .. out from it falls mold and lands on my friends plate and my cutlery, my friend let the server know hey I think you should tell management because this looks like mold & her response was oh yeah I know we’ve let them know.
This grossed me out, I believe the manager or owner was also in at this point & did not offer an apology or even address it with us. Our bills came which we happily paid and left but I think after mold falling on customers a discount of a sort would be appreciated - I won’t be returning so there is no sense to reach out to apologies & I don’t want anything free but I felt my experience should be shared.
If it was just a matter of a wait & cold food I am not the type to even leave a...
