PHO ALDERGROVE — Restaurant in Township of Langley

If you know your Vietnamese, this is the place. Hands down. I’ve had tons of pho all my life and this place, just thinking about it makes me wanna get some again immediately!

The soup broth is on point, has a more South Vietnamese flavour. Sweet and bold. Packaged correctly so not to wilt the bean sprouts Rare beef tastes freshly cut and not frozen and cut from the best parts. Veggies perfectly balanced to not overtake the flavour profile of the broth.

Even the Vietnamese coffee (Cafe Su Dah) was on point and using authentic sweetened condensed milk from Vietnam, not some cheap brand.

This place knows exactly doing when it comes to pho, I can’t imagine another place...

My husband and I enjoyed our first meal there yesterday - I got the brisket pho and he got a pork and spring roll noodle bowl. Both were very delicious! Unfortunately, it didn't seem that there were many if any Covid-19 precautions being taken. No one wore a mask or shield and our phone number and name was not taken. I believe that's actually meant to be mandatory, too. I was going to give it to them anyways, but i forgot to. I will be calling later today to do so, just in case. While I really enjoyed the food, I won't be going back until covid has calmed down, or there are more precautions at this location are...

I ordered a 19. Rare beef and beef balls. I started eating and realized there was tripe, tendon and cartilage. Not things I'm comfortable eating. I asked to see the menu to confirm i indeed ordered correctly. I had. I told him of error and asked for a container to take it for my dog. He went to the kitchen to inform them of their error. He returned with an apology and the bill! It was the only item on the bill. Paid full price for their mistake. Used to be one of my favorite pho restaurants, luckily there are plenty of pho options...
