This park is gorgeous! It has fun, brightly coloured equipment for the kiddies to play on. One of the best features is the springy material covering the ground on all the play areas. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's a fantastic idea! There's two large water areas that will be great once they're reopened. Lots of gentle hills and grassy areas to run around on, dotted with the most wonderful majestic pine trees that almost touch the sky! From the decent sized parking lot, you can't miss the large, clean washroom facilities complete with water fountain by the doors. Read morePhilip Jackman Park is the only FREE place to be in Aldergrove if you're a parent or a kid under say....12 maybe. Older kids like it too, they just wouldn't probably beg to go there like their 5-year-old siblings. It has two totally cool water park areas; one being (I think) more appropriate for the very wee children and the the other for the slightly less wee ones. It also has a great playground equipment area with swing sets, slides, climbing apparatus, etc, and two or three picnic tables set amongst a lovely lightly treed grassy field providing both sunnier and shadier spots for whatever suits your preference.
