Absolutely incredible food! The service is fast and super friendly. The portion sizes are bigger then expected and the quality is outstanding. I absolutely love my sushi and this place does it the absolute best! For a sushi place attached to a gas station it truly blew my mind! Its my absolutely favorite! If its busy its definitely worth the wait! This place is a must experience. I get combo C every time because it comes with so much food. Check out the photos I post. I share photos of the combo C except my boyfriend and I ended up eating our sunomono and our miso soups that came with our combo C before I took the photos. We also ordered Canucks puck roll and a lion king roll and a monkey brain to share. I also ordered the Atlantic salmon sashimi 10pc. The photo dosnt do it justice the slices are so big and beautiful. There was a BBQ eel dish we got but I cant remember what it was called. For desert we always get an order of the deep fried ice cream we ate half before taking the photo. I have returned and given it another try since the review below and have not had the same experience. The sushi is very good (the Beef Teriyaki Dinner Box is my favourite). We will be ordering from here on a regular basis. Review changed from 1 star to 4 stars.

This is not a review based on my tasting the actual sushi because I never got to.
I ordered online on Mother's Day 2020 and it gave me an email confirmation, order number and pick-up time.
When I went to pick up, there was a line-up which was understandable given our current COVID situation. But after standing in line for 30 minutes and finally getting to the door, they informed me that their online orders were not working and they asked to take my order right then to prepare for me.
This is completely unacceptable customer service. If they knew online orders were not working, they should have come out and let everyone standing in line know that instead of wasting our time.

Read moreI have lived in Aldergrove for 8 years and in the past year have ordered pick-up from Tomo 2 - 3 times a week EVERY SINGLE WEEK. My wife and I have always loved the food and service. I was in a week ago and tried to pay with cash, which I normally don't do, I will pay with credit card. The lady at the front told me, "they do not accept small change". I was lost, never heard this before. The bill was $33.90 and I tried to give them two $20 bills and $3.90 in change. I wanted a $10 or two $5 back. They wouldn't do it. Makes no sense. If this was a tip thing, sorry I am not tipping on take out, especially since the prices continue to rise. I frequent this business and spend $400-$500 per month there! They don't even hand you the food, they make it and put it on a table and point which one is yours. Why should I tip on that? If I were to eat in and BE SERVED I would tip 15%.
