Buffet des Continents - Trois-Rivières — Restaurant in Trois-Rivières

The waitress made us wait 25 minutes....We asked for a banquet and she still put us at a table with chairs...Some food were really DISGUSTING like the mash potatoes...and the rice...Some desserts...needs to disappear from their menu too..they were gewy and liquid...it gave me and my husband shivers...how can you serve weird smelling and none tasting food!? Do the cooks even taste the food before to serve it!? I bet you....that they don't! Or they wouldn't serve these dishes! The serving person rarely cleaned our table from the small trash plates... The tables are so near from each other that we had to ask the people behind to move for us to get off our chair(s). Very dissapointed...honestly...

For the price...i was expecting good food and...

The food, the service and the atmosphere were all good. That was not the issue at all. The real problem was the huge amount of fruit flies in the restaurant.

I am not talking about a bug here and there, I mean bugs everywhere. My family and I were swatting them away all through out our dinner. They were even some in our plates, and some around the food on the long tables.

Now I don’t know if the amount of bugs was because of the summer weather, but it was still pretty disgusting. We even complained to the server who told us that this issue was a recurring problem and that management failed to do anything about it.

Price, fair 77$ for 3 people + 1 kid for free Food, decent lots of oil ( that’s what we like ) Chicken, disgusting undercooked. Too much salt. Fish, underseasoned and bland. Sushi, lacks flavour. Potatoes, delicious best I’ve had in my life. Menu for kids, pizza chicken nuggets. Deserts, ice cream, cake and more. Servers, very nice and professional. Overall an alright stop, would recommend if you have picky kids they’ll love the pizza and the nuggets. If you enjoy Asian food, you’ll be in heaven.
