Jasmin — Restaurant in Trois-Rivières

Last Friday on our way to Quebec City we stopped at Trois Rivières to have our lunch. 2 minutes away from the exit of Highway 40 we found this Chinese restaurant. The restaurant was packed . My wife and I was too hungry , so we chose 2 of their repas expresses for $8.95 each. When the waitress brought our orders we were so surprised of the sizes. The portion was so generous and the taste was excellent. We ordered the general chicken and Cantonese chow me in. Their quality was even better than the big restaurants in Montreal and Toronto. Très déçu. Je ne commanderai plus jamais.

J’ai commandé un shop suy de poulet et un riz frit au poulet pour un total de 38 $, et quelle ne fut pas ma surprise en découvrant que le poulet était totalement absent des deux plats. À la place, je me suis retrouvé avec du riz et des pousses de bambou, sans aucune trace de la protéine principale qui justifiait le choix de ces plats et leur prix.

À ce tarif, je m’attendais à des portions généreuses et surtout conformes à la description du menu. Mais ce que j’ai reçu était non seulement insatisfaisant, mais aussi trompeur. Dépenser presque 40 $ pour du riz et des légumes, c’est tout simplement inadmissible.

Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant pour quiconque recherche un repas savoureux, fidèle à ce qui est annoncé, et qui respecte le rapport qualité-prix. Je ne commanderai plus jamais chez eux.
