First time eating here. Had the chicken special for $10. Vague description but it's curry chicken with rice and beans and a helping of potato salad. The portion size was considerably small.
My partner got the Oxtail and hers was the regular size for $20 and it was easily double the size of my platter.
I am scared to see the Large portion ! Lol
The food is very rich in flavour.
Very tasty, a lot of small little bones in my curry chicken and her ox tail. Typically eating fish I watch for bones like crazy, my chicken was as bad as that unfortunately.
Also when we arrived, it was a hour and a half till closing time, they sold out of some stuff. Very popular it would seem.
4 stars
Other than that, the food is amazing and I want to go back despite it !
The service is good and very friendly !
The presentation is not westernized and
be understanding how they serve you.
5 stars !
The atmosphere is bland with distinction of Jamaica.
It has potential to be better down the road, I would of loved to see more relics and homeage of Jamaica all spread around in there.
At the counter they had more of a representation of Jamaica in their drinks in the cooler and desserts in a container over the decor. Amusing and I would love to see more !
The Pineapple ginger fruit juice is about $6 a bottle, very sugary but goes extremely well with the curry dishes, something I did not expect and found very amusing !
I would recommend it, beware at first the drink is very ginger potent, but after a few morsels of your curry dish it tames and feels more juicy, very weird but very cool.
Overall give support to these ppl. Support local...
Read moreDelicious authentic style Jamaican food. They didn't water it down for Canada's taste buds which i love. It's a bit pricey for what you get, however the quality is there in the food and service is amazing. I would say a little bigger portions to even out the cost, but other then that nothing but rave reviews on the food itself and the staff. The building was never really designed for a restaurant so i won't dock them for the location, it's more of a pick up and take home food for us. We will continue to order here over the other local Jamaican restaurant because the food and...

My partner and I found it by accident just following the smell from down the road. We had the Goat Curry and BBQ Fried chicken combo, and the a spicey Jamaican patty, it was amazing! They have definitely made some long time customers. Also, we will be by soon to ask to buy a jar of...
