Pita Pit — Restaurant in Truro

I have visited many Pita Pit across the country, all are good - however this one by far has been my favorite! I am not even out of the parking lot yet and I felt it necessary to post about how great it is! First and foremost the customer service I just experienced was so wonderful. I felt genuinely welcomed, a true friendliness and appreciation for my 'business' (above the notorious East Coast kindness) Now-they didn't have my traditionally ordered item available. I decided to have an item they suggested. (way out of my usual comfort zone, but I went with it since I asked) It came dressed with a little bit of everything. Each and every piece of vegetable was so crisp and fresh - and tasted like it should. (....... 100% no doubt was fresh. Not pre cut yesterday, or bought cut bagged) perfect amount of sauce. I ordered my usual order (chicken souvlaki pita) through door dash. The door dasher was great but I was prettt disappointed in the food itself. It felt bland and lazy, like it was just veggies thrown into a pita. Usually the sauces coat everything so nicely, but it felt like the sauces and feta were skimped on. I got 2 sauces plus hummus and tzatziki and it was a lot of lettuce and just kinda dry and bland. Felt like the effort lacked because I didn't order it in store. They didn't have the pop that was listed online which was fine, I'm a rootbeer girl so I switched it up and appreciated the dasher sending me photos of what they did have and letting me know. They also didn't have the chips I ordered but did not mention it and just sent me baked BBQ chips instead of a kettle chip. I'm not a BBQ fan and would have picked...

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! We ordered three items through Door Dash. They made every one of those items wrong. One pita was missing its sauce, the spice and 5 out of the 7 items requested. The other two items were missing one to two veggies. After we called, our situation was rudely discussed between them for 10 minutes with us hearing everything. The solution was for us to bring the pitas back within the hour for them to remake them. We would not if Door Dashed if we were allowed to leave our Hositpal Department. Never again for...
