Kiwassa Neighbourhood House ordered large platters of food from Aboki Grill for our Black History Month community celebration, and the food was absolutely delectable! With so many different people from various backgrounds attending, we needed something that would please a diverse crowd, and Aboki Grill delivered beyond our expectations.
The jollof rice was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, a true showstopper that had everyone coming back for seconds. The balangu suya (grilled lamb) was tender, juicy, and full of bold flavors, the Aboki wings were coated in a tantalizing mix of spices that offered the perfect balance of sweet and savory. And the puff puffs? Simply irresistible—soft, sweet, and the perfect way to round out the meal.
We were amazed by how quickly the food disappeared - how many folks came back for seconds and thirds, and how folks raved about how delicious everything was!
Aboki Grill truly elevated our event, bringing people together over an unforgettable Nigerian feast. From the first phone call through to delivery, the owner, Vanye, was a pleasure to work with and provided spectacular service. We couldn’t be more grateful for the outstanding service and the incredible quality of the food.

Read moreI am writing this review with a lot of joy. I am happy that I was at a restaurant where I found very delicious Nigeria/African delicacies offered with a very caring and warm attention. The varieties of food and drinks served are top notch. The grilled Tilapia fish was delicious. The Zobo (hibiscus) drink was fantastic and healthy, and so was the meat pie. The sauce served with the Tilapia comes with a master signature. My only regret is that I did not find this restaurant early enough, but only a few days to the end of my vacation in Vancouver. I promise I will have lots of these the next time I come here. I am very pleased to recommend Aboki Grill to all lovers of Nigerian/African food looking for the best of the best. Congratulations to all the staff of...
Read moreThe most delicious food I have had in recent times. The owner is very generous with the portion. You definitely get your money's worth with Aboki. I ordered the 2 piece Turkey, it looks juicy(i requested for it to be spicy). The half and half Jollof rice and Fried rice with shrimp combo is amazing. Must try; the Lamb Suya with the suya spice if you like some heat. For some snacks, I had the meat pie - very flavourful. I wish they have other Nigerian snacks I can try. The icing on the cake are the owners and their staff exceptional service. I was warmly welcomed by the owner when I arrived to pick up my order. Best Nigerian/African food in Vancouver - just about 5-10mins drive from...
