Birdies Charcoal Grill — Restaurant in Vancouver

I am completely blown away by this new kid on the block. The flavours of the chicken and sauces are explosive. I’m drooling as I wrote this review that it’s so proudly deserves.

I’ve had takeout twice from Birdies and the 2nd time was just as memorable as the first. It’s about $25-35/pp with sides. You can taste the charcoal BBQ flavour on the chicken that has been cooked to perfection on their Japanese Hibachi. The original chicken is juicy, Smokey and flavourful in each bite. I find myself taking the chicken and dipping it back in its juices at the bottom of the takeout box. The chicken Salt Fries and Gravy are delicious as well. It comes with the Amarillo Pepper sauce that gives it a nice sweet tang. I dipped everything in it. The cornbread is a great side as well.

We also got the original Sandwich, it had great flavours, but the bread was very basic. Would be nice if they had a nice potato brioche bun or something to elevate the chicken and salad.

If I could give 10 stars I would, I found them off of instagram and as a chicken sandwich lover I had to try it. Drove out with my mom, wait time wasn’t long at all. I am picky about my sandwiches and when I say the birdies sando was easily one of the best I’ve ever had I mean it. The sauces separate it from the typical grilled chicken sandwich and elevates it with some great spice. We also got cornbread, rice, and fries all AMAZINGGG!! All well worth the price and the wait. Definitely call ahead to order they are super easy about the pickup process and the food is absolutely delicious, I recommend to check them out if you haven’t!! Will definitely be going...

I got the birdies arroz chaufa. honestly i was a bit skeptical before ordering because i've never had a good experience with ghost kitchen but holy cow am i glad i did. This is probably the absolute BEST place to order on ubereats right now. the chicken was big and perfectly seasoned. The fried rice was delicious. The sauce was on point. This is gonna be my new delivery joint hands down will be ordering again soon. I usually never write reviews unless the restaurant was bad but this food was SO GOOD.
