Stay away! Service was literally the worst I've had from any establishment in 20 years...I thought we were being pranked it was so bad! We ordered 3 crepes, a smoothie, a latte, and two waters. Two crepes were brought to out table in about 15 minutes. As time passed, we realized they forgot the latte, so we went to the counter to remind them of the latte....it was then made. After more time, it became apparent they also forgot the smoothie, so we went to the counter to remind them of the smoothie. After yet more time, it became apparent they also forgot our last crepe, so we once again went to the counter and reminded them of this and it arrived about 15 minutes later. There were three young women working there and they LITERALLY did not stop talking to one another in the 45 minutes we sat there...literally non-stop. I understand that restaurants are struggling with labor issues and finding good people in the post-pandemic world, but this was not the issue....these three employees just DID NO CARE one bit...The crepes were ok, and the coffee was good, but I would NEVER return to the place, there are too many other great options. Live...

Not the same cafe. I visited many years ago. The chicken crepe used butter chicken pieces rather than plain chicken and the daily special is butter chicken with naan bread.

The girl behind the counter was not the French ethnicity that I've seen here before but rather of that ethnicity.

The egg and spinach crepe she made was decent and fresh. Nothing special to say as it was typical egg and spinach crepe that was decently seasoned.

The chicken crepe had butter chicken pieces, red onion and tomatoes. Temperature of filling very cool so I originally thought this was made first and the other made after but the crepe was a little drying and seemed pulling apart around the filling area so it might have been premade and reheated. Taste was ok, but would have rather had freshly made one from scratch, even if with plain chicken.

Was there early so room was empty. Plenty of residential street parking if need to park more than the 1hr that the 41st Ave....

After casually asking for an itemized receipt as I thought it was only a click away to print out from her computer, she told me to not come back and "you are not my customer". Completely shocked at how rude she turned to be. So yeah, I paid 19 dollars for really bad customer service plus two drinks and a croissant that I did not want to touch after she yelled at me.

I am curious why she was so mad at being asked to give a normal receipt. Plus I didn't even insist on it. After she explained to me the specific prices, I said "ok" and went on with the payment. Immediately after the payment went through, she said " don't come back". What?!? why didn't you say that earlier? Really? robbing 19 dollars from a customer is really gonna help your business? How am I supposed to "enjoy" anything I just ordered and paid after you kicked me out of the shop for asking a simple question regarding...

The best thing going for this place is the location, close to 41st ave & Dunbar - pretty much the only cafe in the area, unless you go much further east into Kerrisdale itself. My cappuccino was delivered to my table (!) quickly, so that was impressive. The coffee itself was OK. Besides that, there’s some concerns here: 1)display cases which at 2:00 in the afternoon were almost bare, 2)dirty dish return area that is definitely not as clean as it should be, 3)the entire cafe needs some ventilation/fresh air, and 4)seating is comfortable but chair/table combinations are much more suitable for conversation than using a laptop.

Cozy neighborhood cafe. Service was great. Ordered a mocha latte but it tasted like hot chocolate-- I frankly didn't even taste the coffee 😅 Stuff are really sweet here-- I'm not a fan of sweet things but I was in a good mood and didn't really mind too much. Crepe was good but wish they sold them plain with jam/Nutella on the side or something. The sweet options are too sweet. Maybe it was possible but I didn't ask. Overall, a decent cafe stop if you're in the neighborhood but not a place I'd make a trip for.
