Interesting cafe serving hot Thai and Thai-fusion entrees along with coffee and some pastries. It's kind of a pricey place for a quick-serve cafe but the entrees are big enough that you can easily get two filling meals out of them so you do get your money's worth. The staff is welcoming and will take the time to explain the menu to you. Food is really good and even the grab-and-go entrees are actually hot and fresh. Highly recommend the Thai green iced tea. The only improvement they could make for me is to include some vegetarian options in the grab-and-go entrees. There's plenty of veg choices on the menu for the sit-down restaurant they're still developing, but none of these make it to the grab-and-go (at least not for hot food, I didn't check salad but vegetarians might have more...

Anyone entering once their Dunbar location is meant to come back again, and again and again… Not only their coffee [and check out the “Naughty Blend”] – but the overall atmosphere and energy created and maintained by the staff is bar none. In the food department, the temptations are endless. The Manager, Dominic, approaches work and life with his own unique blend of intelligence, passion, and humour. Blaq Sheep is, at the end of the day, a lifestyle choice. It is hard to find a comparable coffee shop in Vancouver. Espresso is essential to me, as I cannot function properly without it. Blaq Sheep makes a...

Seriously, it's hard to find something like this on the west side. I live 5 minutes away and have never thought of eating pho on this side of town. I'm so particular with pho I would only eat pho in the east side. After meeting the chef and he explained to me how he got the recipe that was passed down from his family, I thought I would give it a try. Today I went in at lunch and it was packed. I ordered a beef pho and it was amazingly delicious! Northern style pho with deep, rich, beef umami broth and hand sliced beef. Literally homemade! I'm so blown away I'll need to come...

This is tough because I have always loved Pink Elephant through the years at all the different locations I have been to that are no longer open. This seems to be the last remaining one. The food is so good (esp pad kee mao, red curry and spring rolls) although they have made some changes over the years I don't like as much. I always find the service to be good, especially at lunch - they can get you fed and out of there on time! It just reeeeaaaaally bugs me when a restaurant's online menu is out of date and prices are higher when you get there. Fix that and I will give 5⭐

Delicious, and awesome coffee. I’m so thrilled that they opened a cafe version of Pink Elephant in this neighborhood. Also helps that you can do takeout in a jiffy as they have a cold section and a hot foods/dine in option! Update: I changed my review due to the measly portions for takeaway containers. No way they should be 17.99. Other places down in Kerrisdale is 11.99 for a full sized meal. Edit: Improved to 4 stars. They now have a lunch menu starting at 13.50 per. MUCH more reasonable. If they can enhance their soup noodles and offerings, they are a 5 star
