Quite possibly THE best decision you'll ever make.
Our favourites / top recommendations / shockingly good:
Raspberry Sorbet - To die 🤩 hands down the best raspberry sorbet I've ever had. You can truly taste the freshness of the local B.C. raspberries and anyone who understands sorbet knows the texture is key and all I can say is chef's kiss and well done! This is a flavour that will leave you wanting to come back for the same flavour again and again.
Vanilla - Incredibly underrated 🤯 I'm not normally a vanilla fan (often underwhelming for me personally) but WOW their vanilla is on. Another. Level. Not too sweet, yet tons of that fresh and crisp vanilla flavour!
We all also tried the Salted Caramel which was super creamy and our friends had the Walnut Fig which tasted like fresh figs!
100% will be back to try their other seasonal flavours! The owner let us know they were cooking up some small batch fresh new flavours in the back kitchen - they focus on local ingredients, real flavours, and family roots. Can't wait to try them all!
Thanks KOBO Icecream for doing ice...

The quality is high, with my favourite, to date, the orange-chocolate. The main reason for Kobo only getting three stars, instead of more, is the portion size is particularly small given the price. Other indie ice cream shops in Vancouver, to compare, for a similar price, give a much healthier portion. I know the margins must be slim, with the cost of the lease, etc., but for the price to portion size ratio, I probably won't go there very often, even though I live in the neighbourhood. I think others may stay away for the same reason, despite the high quality delicious product, and the...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, as I love to support local. However, I was so incredibly disappointed in what I ate here. One of the worst ice cream experiences I’ve had in recent memory. The pistachio had zero flavour and had a very grainy, chewy texture. The salted caramel didn’t taste like either of those two flavours (salt or caramel?). The portions are also small for the price.
If you’re craving ice cream, I would skip this spot as it didn’t satisfy at all and I ended up getting an ice cream from the freezer at the convenience store next door.
EDIT: the owner replied and implied that I may have wrote this review due to a failed job application attempt. I have a fulltime job and have never applied for a job at this...
