I initially rated 1. First, my child lined up to ask about sandwiches they offer, and a girl at the counter just pointed at the blackboard and didn't help her at all. Dejected, she came out of the line. She ended up lining up again just to get a cookie because the girl was really not helpful. I wasn't too impressed with the way the girl treated my child. Then I brought up my latte to get it reheated as it got ice cold and was not very tasty. The same girl said that was against the health code, and other than adding hot water to dilute it, there was nothing they could do. Sitting there with a dejected child and an ice cold and gross latte, I rated the place 1. I was so steamed about it that I went up to complain to a different person. This time, I talked to Tristan, who was actually making the lattes. Initially he said maybe he could add hot milk into it, but then he decided to remake my latte nice and steaming hot. I was shocked by his generosity, especially since the girl was so not helpful. So just for his amazing service, I had to give a few more stars. The cafe is unusually cold inside, and with a wide open mouth cup, the drink cools off quickly. I recommend you either order your drink in a takeout cup, or drink it fast. Or it would be nice if there was a microwave we can just pop...

Some of the best fries I've had in Vancouver. Crunchy, moist and perfectly salted; the included ketchup was actually unnecessary because these fries can stand on their own. Ate them so fast no time for a picture. Baked goods were excellent as well, in particular the cheese bacon scone; heavy but perfectly prepared.

Now on to the bad. The latte I had was one of the worst I've ever had. Watery, bland and no body. Don't know what happened with my drink but it was an utter failure and and hurtful as I spent $5+ bucks on a drink I couldn't even finish. Minus 1 star. Did I mention I tipped them as well? Ah well I'll be back for everything else except the coffee.

Update: the fries have taken a turn for the worst. They now appear to be of the previously frozen variety (instead of freshly cut) and flavourless and salty. Definite fail. The grilled cheese was dry and bland as well. Overall the food was disappointing. The latte on the other hand was competent with no...

The good: location is fine. And cashier service during the pandemic was friendly and efficient.

The bad: I ordered the Tracks Breakfast and it was not worth the $16 in terms of quality and quantity.

The Worst: as I waited for my food, I was able to watch at the pick up window. Firstly, cook #1 used his fingers to plate the sunny side up egg rather than sliding it off the pan or using a spatula. Secondly, cook #2 had over handled the toast, flipping it twice in his hands for no reason other than he was distracted in conversation. Then, he held the toast in his palm as he buttered it. Also, this was all after he handled a tin of garbage or food scraps; as clean or not as it was, there's cross contamination. The better way would have been to butter it while on a board or the plate.

Food Safe training and oversight by the owner would be a step to fixing this.

I could've said something, but have you seen the movie Waiting? I chose to...

Love the vibe of this Cafe. They had classic 80s music playing today and that alone would make me want to come back. It’s a cute little place with lots of room both inside and outside to enjoy your food and study. The customer service was great. The place was very clean. The food we ordered was very delicious and warm. I will say that I did notice that the food and drink menu is more on the pricier side. My oat latte was really good, and was beautifully presented. Something I do love about this place as-well is not only is it a coffee shop, but it sells alcohol! I have never experienced a coffee shop that serves coffee, breakfast, lunch, beer and cocktails! Super cool ! Definitely worth a check out.

I came here yesterday with a friend and we ordered a Matcha Latte and an Americano Misto to have in. Both drinks came with so much foam — about half of the cup was just froth. The staff remade them, which I appreciated — the Matcha Latte was a bit better, but still too foamy. When I picked up the Americano Misto, I asked the barista if it was made with oat milk, and she said yes. But it clearly wasn’t — it tasted like regular milk, and there was very little of it. Hope the managers check on how the baristas are making drinks, because the quality really needs some attention.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch today. We appreciated that we could actually sit down. The upstairs area filled with light when the clouds parted a bit. We both had lunch sandwiches. My wife the beet one. I had chicken. Each was large with generous portions. We added in the salad. There were topped with sprouts, which I am not so keen on, but which my wife loves. We had a peaceful and lovely lunch together. I have had great coffee here on previous visits. The desserts look delicious, but I haven’t yet tried one. All the more reason for another visit.
