It’s been years since I’ve been here.. ownership must’ve changed in that time because the space looks much nicer - like someone actually cares! And I’m very happy that there are now Chinese dishes on the menu. Went in for lunch today and had a really delicious sweet and sour crispy chicken. I love sweet and sour (anything!) but so many places can’t get it crisp. And it has to be crisp! It was very tasty. Don’t know if it was the owner who served me but she was very nice and friendly, and the food came out quickly and piping hot. Can’t wait to try their other dishes.
Have to edit my review and remove a couple of stars. I ordered ma po tofu for pick up. Was asked if I wanted it with beef or chicken which I didn’t understand as the menu says it comes with minced beef - no mention of chicken. I said “doesn’t it come with ground beef?” “What’s ground beef?” Guess I should’ve said “minced”. I explained that it was finely chopped beef. “Yes we cut it smaller”. OK then. When I picked up the order, she confirmed ma po tofu. I got home and it was tofu with black bean sauce. And chunks of beef. Didn’t enjoy it - especially as I was expecting...

Read moreFair price for solid portions, decent food. Can't speak to the service as I ordered takeout, but the food was better than or equal to the majority of Thai delivery I've tried in the city. Standout was the sweet and sour chicken, which topped that of any Thai restaurant in the city, takeout or dine-in. The pad Thai was also quite good, though it could do without the tofu cubes, which felt out of place and tasted meh, and although I was initially skeptical of the slice of lemon that came with it (rather than the usual lime) it actually went together perfectly. The yellow curry was fine, the red curry with beef was oddly gamey-tasting, it was probably the biggest dissapointment along with the Tom Kha Gai, though neither was bad per se, just not great. The coconut rice was barely coconutty, but still yummy. Everything but the sweet and sour chicken was a tad bit spicier than I'm used to, but that could be my fault for not requesting that the order be calibrated to white...
