We have been here quite a lot. They used to serve great rice noodle soup. Recently I had been there twice. Two week ago, I realized its taste might change. In order to confirm what I have been expecting, last Sunday, 5th of Sep, I visited again. If the taste change, I will never have this again that I thought. Looks the same since I visited. However, the beef rice noodle soup .. broth was like mixed with a lot of water so the taste was nothing but salty which means there were no longer exist of deep flavour of beef that they used to do it. And the noodle.. seemed like not preparing properly so some were very sticky and some were hard to chewing. And the beef… was like rubber, I assumed that they just put the frozen beef into the soup not putting it one by one, just put them it at once so its tissue were partly uncooked and so tough. I once this restaurant rated superb and I still remember what I had. So great experience in my life. But as of now, I will never ever visit here again. Even though customers are increasing after releasing restrictions, they should have kept their recipes and offered customers their best. Once I could tolerate. But twice, I think they have no passion to serve the best.
Every day, in my life, I have been having pleasure time by having good food. But last Sunday in the afternoon, they took...

This restaurant only offers two menu items. That might not even be an accurate statement because there are no menus. You will be offered two choices when your order is taken: chicken or beef. More specifically if you are going to be eating at this establishment you will be having either chicken or beef pho noodle soup. So if that is going to be an issue for you don’t bother coming here. If you do decide to eat here, you are in for a treat.
Generous serving of noodles - other restaurants may call this a ‘large’. The beef pho had beef balls, raw slices of tender beef and nicely marbled brisket. The beef soup is slightly peppery in taste but very flavourful. Usual toppings of cilantro and onions are included, ask them to leave out if you don’t enjoy those. The chicken pho had various cuts of chicken meat and bony pieces that not everyone likes. You do have to be aware and not gobble down a piece of bone. The chicken is quite tender though. The broth is a different variation from the beef and is heavily influenced by fried shallots.
Each bowl costs $11.50
It’s not pretty inside, very much a ‘hole in the wall’ but they do two things very well....

This particular spot is run by Vietnamese owners. Before the renovation, this place looked like the kind of authentic dive where movie shootouts happen. After the renovation... well, let's just say it went from "shootout just happened" to "shootout might happen any minute." But hey, that's part of the charm!
The Menu: Two pho options – beef or chicken. Clear broth or spicy. Vietnamese coffee. That's it. No fusion nonsense, just pure Vietnamese soul food.
The Magic: The broth is the star – rich, aromatic, clearly simmered with love. The homestyle quality makes you feel like you're eating at grandma's kitchen table.
