My first experience getting Montreal-style bagels from a real bagel bakery, a DOUGH-PE and exciting experience! Iv walked past this cute little local joint within the heart of The Drive a bunch of times but this time made the decision to head over and grab a dozen to take home and toast those little bad boys. The perfect PBJ and banana compliment. My favorite were the Rainbow Bagels, not sure if this was just my inner child but I thought they were rad. Overall, pretty awesome bagels, doughy and chewy if that's what your into and I would therefore recommend having them warm. I love the joint itself, real cute home cooking style vibe and they put a lot of pride and effort into every bagel made with quality, wholesome and non-gmo ingredients. I was totally stoked they use the real warming wood fire oven and you drool as you watch the bagels fall out live in action. The bagels also do freeze well if you cut them in half prior to sticking them in the freezer. FYI the Rainbow Bagels are regular bagels with no egg. Would be sweet if their dine in menu could accommodate some more vegan friendly options or if even sweet, a real PBJ Banana punch could be a good option? Or even some kind of seasonal bagels, like pumpkin spice? Support...

I made a corporate lunch order on Mar 17 from the Commercial branch, the pre order emails and calls exchanged were straight forwarded, however, long story short three major issues were happened and I am not satisfied about the service:
Delivery was late for 30 mins, I was told by the delivery person the order was to be delivered at 11 :30 but by email, it was confirmed the delivery was 11. The delivery person went to 3/F instead of 6/F where office is, the address has been confirmed over the phone. Ordered some vegan bagel sandwich option, as this is my first time ordering from them, I trust the expertise so when the staff asked me to pick from the option, I chose, eg. 2 X vegan Kitsilano , my assumption was I will have all the ingredients upgrade (we are happy to pay extra) so that the bagel sandwich is good for vegan person. (not only the bagel itself to be made vegan), so it ended up I have some co-workers who are unable to have lunch that day.
I email the branch and catering department on Mar 22 and NO response so far. This is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve always had rosemary rock salt catered at my work and loved them. Iām gluten free and itās exciting to get a nice treat here and there. I came in today and man was I ever disappointed. We ordered to go, the last agf, steveston bagel and my boyfriend got a regular one for himself. When the order came out, the girl said āveganā I told her no⦠almost gluten free. She said that there was none left and I told her I got the last one, where did it go? They left my bagel sitting off to the side and she had to remake it. Little did I know I had to ask for the bagel to be toasted⦠the cashier didnāt give me the option or ask me if I wanted it toasted or not but thatās not surprising seeing as she put my bagel down as āveganā on the bill. My question is, why would I order a smoked salmon bagel vegan? Both our bagels were super dense, hard to eat, like biting into undercooked hardened dough. My boyfriend said his was the same. Just a really disappointing...
