Sparky Chicken — Restaurant in Vancouver

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sparky Chicken after its grand opening, fresh from a trip to South Korea. As someone who's experienced authentic Korean fried chicken, I was curious to see how Sparky Chicken would compare.

To my delight, the chicken at Sparky Chicken not only matched the quality of what I've had in South Korea but exceeded it in flavor. The crispy exterior and juicy, tender meat were perfectly balanced, and the seasoning was spot-on, delivering a taste that's both familiar and refreshingly new.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting, with friendly staff and efficient service, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's clear that Sparky Chicken takes pride in delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.

When I saw this place, I was exciting to try! I love Korean fried chicken. And I planned having these with my friends. So I ordered around $60 total for to go. Food was nice, my friends liked it too. Especially spicy chicken bab. So good. But to be honest, potion is too small… It was half and half with bone. And another half size boneless. But it looks so small both of them… Chicken bab…They chopped chicken to very small piece like kids meal… Also location is a bit random place. Nothing much around this area. So, even if I like the food, I dont think I will be back in person. Probably delivery. But since you have to pay more with delivery. I dont think this is my option to eat next time. I really wish this review helps to improve...

Horrible, Slow Service - Overpriced

$30.00 for half-half. Add taxes and "obligatory" tip ( for lousy service) and you're at $40.00 !!

The food is typical Korean fried chicken... with sugar-laced powdered cheese sprinkled on top.

The wasabi sauce is fast food quality while the pricing is not.

The only positive about the food is that the chicken is not oily.

When ordering in person, expect the service counter to mess it up even if you triple check when placing the order.

The seating area is small but clean and well maintained.

Overall, not impressed. Sorry, there are far better food options on...
