Long story short. Long wait for your order It’s a Sunday about 1:30pm. I mobile ordered beforehand and end up waited for my order for another 20 mins after I arrived!
—————— What happened?
When I got there only one staff taking order while the other 4/5 staff kinda just walking around and not very sure what they r busy at.
Since the staff wouldn’t give any attention to the pick up line, I went to the order line up to wait for my turn and asked if my order is ready. By that time, it has already passed 10 mins..after I arrived
When it’s my turn to “order”, the staff didn’t signal me to come forward as she was kinda busy with sth else? So I waited. even I was the first one in line, it took couple minutes before she was ready to take my “order”(actually I just asked if my order is ready or not) The people behind me were waiting impatiently as well.
I was redirected to the waiting area again and after another 10 mins (as my lunch hour was almost over) after seeing people had their order and only me wait there forever, I called a staff as she put down someone else order and avoid making eye contact with me for a couple times …. I finally seized one moment and interrupted her as she was rushing away…. And they finally grab my order that sit there for a long time, and the other girl(I guess she is responsible for making the wrap… she said it’s ready long ago😑) my worst experience so far.
Bad customer service. Understaff? But I saw 4/5 staff there so🤷♀️
After three weeks, I decide to give another chance and returned to this same location at 3pm weekday, many staff but the same for only one staff taking order. Plus I just need coffee this time should have been easier.
Line up move slowly compared to other timmies but still honestly it’s better than my last visit. I will avoid to visit THIS location at all cost. I love timmies but not this one. Not to mention I saw another angry customer with her mobile order on my second visit (Well if you wait long enough in the line, you can see what happened to other not-so-happy customer) There’s other option just across the railway. Don’t bother with...
Read moreMan, I really don’t want to be making 1 star google reviews for a tims but this place severely under portions cream cheese in a borderline comical way. I know that it’s not the employees because I go there at all different times of the day and have the same issue. It’s got to be the way they’re trained. Like, I was either gonna writ this google review or a deranged email manifesto about shrinkflation to CBC marketplace because I started ordering extra cream cheese every single time just to get the normal amount.
Which, is very annoying because fast food restaurants are supposed to be standardized and I shouldn’t have to do that. I feel extorted by the franchisee who runs this location but whatever $1 isn’t going to break me but not having breakfast will so alas, I pay. Good lord though today I ordered extra and still got a very sad bagel with virtually no cream cheese on it. I almost turned around to complain but everybody who works there looks like one complaint from me might be the straw that breaks them.
I’ve never seen such a miserable employees at a Tim Hortons, like I don’t know what’s going on there but everybody looks like the light inside them is dying. I’ve worked in food service long enough to notice the tell tale signs of a miserable workplace.
Note to the management reading this: if you read my review and think, “I need to tell the employees to look happier at work.” That will not solve any of your problems! everyone looks overwhelmed and miserable and it’s probably because they are. At this point and if you, a boss tells them to “look happier” without trying to fix the morale issues someone is going to have a joker moment.
Idk what’s going on but please, I just want my standard Tim Hortons serving of...
Read moreI don’t like giving negative reviews, however, my experience at this Tim Hortons was pretty weird. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk. A pretty simple/popular order. It took them about 20 minutes for my order to arrive (that’s pretty long, but whatever I guess, It gets busy) what really threw me off is the fact that the person making my drink didn’t give me what I ordered at all. I saw them process the order, and they made this strange concoction of different milks and creams and then proceeded to add like a tablespoon of coffee? Maybe? Into the drink. My friend and I were laughing because this drink was difficult for us to fathom anyone ordering. I was surprised to hear them call my name and give me this drink. I don’t even think whatever that drink was is something anyone would willingly consume. It tasted like an entire bottle of coffee creamer was dumped into a cup. My drink was basically white. I’m adding an extra star because I definitely could have tried to get someone’s attention to correct my order- that’s on me. The reason I didn’t was because they were working on correcting the orders of five people ahead of me, so the fact that this was a consistent issue has me writing this review. I’m currently trying to come up with a name for the experiment of a drink I was given. Some have suggested “the lactose lovechild” others have suggested “the colon explosion” All I know is that even though my order was suspiciously wrong, I now have a cool story to tell, so thanks I guess? Lol.
TLDR: Tim Hortons hired a barista that’s going to give you a drink based off of “vibes” instead of what you ordered - lactose intolerant...
