I changed my review to 5 stars because I saw a big change at Pacini and they deserve to get 5 stars.
This time I had a spectacular night at Pacini. Food was amazing, service was wonderful and staff were so kind and friendly. As I told you what happened first time I'm going to tell you how was my second visit.
We reached there around 5pm and they got the order few minutes later. It was amazing. Appetizers and drinks were served shortly. We haven't finished the appetizers that main dishes also were served. Food was amazing, my sons loved the food. The restaurant was full and I noticed the Manger worked hard and helped the staff to provide best ever experience. She was wonderful and I think she did a good job to fix the issues that we experienced last time. If you read other bad reviews most of them complain about the waiting time for serving the food. Buy I assure you that it won't be a case anymore. The manager last time told me she will fix the issue and she did it.
I will defenetly will go there and I'm sure I will have perfect dinner.
I'm so happy that I came back there and gave the manager and all staff the opportunity to show me how wonderful this restaurant is.
I didn't remove my previous review only for showing you the changes and give you a sight that other old reviews like my old review are not valid anymore and you need to ignore all bad reviews and give them another chance. Then you will join me to give them another 5 starts.

It was the worst ever experience. They didn't bring the food atfer an hour and half because the lady who got the order forgot to pass it to the kitchen! We stayed there for one hour and half with two kids and had to leave hungry, disappointed and tired.
We reached there around 6 pm. A lady got the order after 15 minutes waiting. She left and nothing happened about 45 minutes. Then she came back with drinks! Then I thought food will come shortly after that. After another 30 minutes I called her and ask about the reason behind the delay. I told her why two other tables who came after us got their food. And she said she forgot to give their order to the kitchen so she pushed the chef to prepare their food! So after almost one hour and half waiting for the food, I decided to leave the restaurant.she said ok you need to pay for the drink! And left to bring the bill! She came back after couple of minutes and told me that I don't need to pay for the drink because she forgot to pass the order to the kitchen!!!. Yes! She had only one job to do and she forgot it! Then I talked with manager, she claimed that she just arrived and she didn't know what happened, she tried to fix the issue but the damage was already done.
She asked me to give her another chance and be her guest next time. But I don't think I go there for another time. Hope they fix the issue and be more respectful about the time that people spend there.
It's a kind of expensive-ish restaurant but the service that they provide is less than a small street food vendor.
If I go there one day and if they provide better service I will change this review but for now they deserve to get...
Read moreTwo of us came here on a Friday night a little later in the evening since we expected it to be busy. We walked into a nearly empty restaurant and sat down at around 8:10 pm. The waitress came and greeted us and my partner says “hello” in English. The waitress promptly responds in French and continues to speak to us in French. No problem, I’m completely bilingual and my partners first language is French. We just prefer to communicate in English as it’s easier for me to understand everything on the menu. As I was ordering my pizza, I spoke in French but said one of the ingredients in English since my menu was clearly in English. The waitress repeated it back to me in French as if I said something wrong. As much as the language was no issue, I found it a bit odd that instead of speaking in our preferred language she decided to speak in French. I’ve worked in service for a long time and have always spoken in the preferred language of the client, even during the days that I struggled to speak French. I feel like that’s pretty basic respect but regardless the service was alright I guess
After only a few minutes of looking over the menu, around 8:20 we ordered our appetizers and entrees. As I mentioned the restaurant was empty and there was at least 8 different staff members standing around the bar so we assumed it would be fairly quick. We don’t mind waiting as we don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen but a 40 minute wait for a few crackers and cheese fondue was a little excessive. We decided while waiting to try out the bread bar. It’s a pretty cool addition and I was pretty excited to see what it was about but that was short lived since after a few bites I ended up with a piece of hair in my mouth (which was not my own) so I was quite put off by that. At the 35 minute mark the waitress explained that they ran out of crackers and had to make more which again, is very understandable but once receiving our appetizer at around 9 pm, we were presented with a small bowl of cheese and maybe 8 pieces of pita crackers. It was a bit hard to understand how such small quantities of food took 40 minutes to make but I can’t complain too much since the pitas were fresh
We received our food about 10 minutes later. It was fresh ish but you could definitely tell it was sitting out for quite some time. The salad dressing tasted off and the prosciutto on the pizza tasted like it had been left out all day. The pizza was quite bland as well. We were pretty disappointed with the food, especially given the price of everything
Overall not impressed. The restaurant itself was very dirty. More staff than there were costumers yet tables were still dirty and the floor still covered in glass. Not sure if it was just an off night or if this is the norm but definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I've never been to this restaurant before but upon looking online our group of 18 people we're all hungry and ready to get in to the all-you-can-eat garlic bread.. how to find restaurant like this you would expect some sort of baguette or buns or quality bread, what we found next to the bread grill was nothing more than sandwich bread that you find at the grocery store. Very disappointing and the flavoured butter containers were almost empty... This is at 6pm for supper.. myself I had ordered with my wife a steak dinner for two which was comprised of 1 9 oz Angus steak as well as 1 9 oz salted steak with various other items..I had asked the waitress to cut both steaks and 1/2 and cook 1/2 of each medium for my wife and 1/2 of each extremely well done for me.. we were one of the last people served in our large group and what I found was they had only given us one 9 oz steak cut in half... When I had called them out on this she said the menu said there was only one steak...upon further investigation the waitress came back and said there was a mistake on the English menus that I was ordering from the French menu showed only one 9 oz steak... Not only that my very very well done steak came back red and dripping..They offered me a complimentary dessert for the trouble...I replied good thing I ordered from the English menu none of this was said to me there is no sticker in the menu or any correction made.. I insisted they provided me with another 9 oz steak as ordered from their menu... They complied sort of... By the time I got my well done steak our party was finished their meals I noticed that they had only brought me half of a 9 oz steak frustrated I just ate it and moved on.. by the time we were ready to leave we waited over 35 minutes to get our bills... I don't know if this is the norm for this chain, but I got to say having errors on a brand new menu, I can understand, but the waitress had told me they had been using the same menus for over 2 months. bottom-line this place needs to work on their customer service and refined some of the finer points. Would I eat there again? It's possible, but I have to admit I was disappointed with the small menu selections. I'm still going to give it 4 Star because the food was delicious... And everyone's entitled to an off-day...
