IF I COULD GIVE MINUS 10 STARS I WOULD. I went to this place yesterday with my dad. From the beginning our experience was REALLY BAD. We got there at 7:20pm and sat at a table waiting for the waitress to take our order, she took about 10 mins to come to our table. After she took our order, we wanted to add a few things to our order and ask her some questions, but she would walk around not even looking to other tables to see if anyone needed help. So it was hard to get her attention. Which is really inefficient for a waitress since your job is to be looking out for customers. After waiting for 45 minutes I got annoyed and had to get up and go to the kitchen to ask for my order. She said she didn’t know if my order was ready but she would ask. After 5 minutes she came to our table to tell us they were just finishing packing our order. I understand it was a bit busy and she was the only waitress working and was serving by herself, but it still is unacceptable. She never once came to check up on us, she never came to us to at least inform us that they were taking a bit longer because they were (clearly) understaffed, NOTHING. When she gave us our order she just handed us the machine and said have a great night, NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. She wasn’t rude, she was actually quite nice. But kindness isn’t everything in customer service, which this place is clearly lacking. My dad was telling me that this never happened when the previous owner managed the restaurant about 10 years ago. The food was mid at best, the tacos were REALLY small, not even Taco bell serves tacos that small, the tortillas fell apart so they wouldn’t even hold the meat. It was $100+ for a dinner for 4 people. And even worst, our order was for take out. We had to wait 50 mins for a take out order, i understand it’s not fast food but I’ve never waited that long for a...

The best latin food in North York, hands down. The pupusas are a staple. But i must know: how could you take those columbian empanadas off the menu. I told stories about those things. People took a bite of those things and looked at me like i just cast a magic spell on them. You must bring back those empanadas.

ANSWER: No way, I checked EVERY time I ordered out. My GF was like, "see if the empanadas are back" EVERY time, and they were always unavailable. Either way, it's fixed now, and I am a happy boy. I don't think you understand just how much I love these things.

THEY ARE BACK!!!! Oh... mygod. I bought an order COLUMBIAN EMPANADAS for myself and another to bring to work, then handed them out and jaws just dropped. The steak tacos... I didn't know! I've been stuck on the pupusa and the empanada that I didn't even bother with the rest of the menu. But it was my Bday, so fk it, I'm getting tacos. Don't try to eat them standing up or you might fall over when your knees buckle. Full stars for bending to public demands.

And another thing. It smells so good when you open the door to this place. it's like the love of your life jumping into your arms after having been parted for too long a time. It's like the sunlight coming through the curtains when you take a sunday...

I ordered through Skip The Dishes last night in an effort to support places I've never been and I'm so thrilled I did. I am a tamale fiend and theirs was delivered absolutely piping hot, delicious and good portion. I ordered Nachos which I realize was a risk take out, but they separated the sauces and I rebuilt exactly what I was craving - a fun Friday night out feeling! Any respectable place should do their own nacho chips and they do, can we talk about the steak though?? It was so frickin delicious I picked them off my own nachos - bonus points! The empanadas were very yummy though I was surprised with a flavour I can't pick but is familiar. Whatever it was - I'm very happy! Tres Leches cake - I now understand why you have a whole cake to order.
