I wasn’t expecting much that night. It was cold, I was tired from work, and all I wanted was something easy. I pulled out my phone, opened up a delivery app, and saw Gino’s Pizza sitting there like a warm invitation. The reviews were solid, but nothing prepared me for what was about to happen.
I ordered the Deluxe Combo — pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, bacon, and a layer of gooey mozzarella that practically begged to be devoured. I added garlic bread and a can of ginger ale because, why not? I figured it would be decent. But what arrived at my door was nothing short of a masterpiece.
The box was hot — not warm, hot. I cracked it open, and the aroma hit me like a wave of comfort: smoky pepperoni, sweet tomato sauce, and the kind of fresh-baked crust smell that reminded me of childhood. One bite and I knew… this wasn’t your average late-night pizza. The cheese stretched like a movie scene, the crust was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and every topping tasted like it had just been chopped by someone who actually cared.
But here's the part that made this the best pizza review I’ve ever written — halfway through my meal, I got a knock on the door. It was the driver.
“I think we gave you a medium by mistake. You ordered a large. I brought the correct one.”
I blinked. In a world where customer service is often a shrug, Gino’s Pizza brought me another entire pizza without me even noticing a mistake.
So now I’m sitting there with two amazing pizzas, garlic bread, and the best surprise of the week — not just because the food was fire (it was 🔥), but because they treated me like I mattered.
That night, Gino’s didn’t just feed me. They restored my faith in food, service, and small joys. I’ve had pizza in New York, Chicago, and even Italy, but nothing hits quite like Gino’s when they’re at their best.
Rating: 11/10. Would sell my last dollar for another slice. Gino’s — you’ve made a loyal...
Read more👎👎👎👎👎If I could give 0 stars I would! Can you believe this location in Woodbridge bribes you with a free drink just to make you give them 5 stars?! Sorry I don't need that free drink that badly or to be bribed! They don't wash their hands and spit while they're talking. GROSS!! They lie about their delivery time and refuse to apologize for their actions. Don't trust this location or anything the people on the phone line tell you! They want you to spend a certain amount for delivery. Excuse me?? As disgusting as Pizza Pizza is to me, even they have better customer service than Gino's! If the pizza at Pizza Pizza doesn't arrive in their given time frame, it's free - Gino's customer service says that well we don't have that policy - well the least you can do is do at least something small for the customer. It's the little things! It's not that difficult! But for them it is. Gino's Pizza lacks in customer service. The phone line calls themselves customer service?!? HA! That's sickening and an embarrassment to yourselves that you call yourselves customer service! Take a customer service course and then call yourselves customer service! There are plenty of pizza stores around and to win the client you need to provide great customer service which this store doesn't have or even...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at this place and I would never recommend it to anyone. The store owner himself was drinking inside the store while customers were there, which was completely unprofessional and very uncomfortable to witness. On top of that, his behavior was extremely rude—he clearly didn’t care about customer service at all.
As for the food, the pizza was a complete waste of money. It tasted old, poorly made, and nothing like what you would expect from a place that charges real money for their food. Honestly, I’ve had better frozen pizza from the grocery store.
Between the unprofessional attitude, the drinking in the store, and the awful quality of the pizza, I will not be coming back and I highly suggest others save their money and go...
