Hero Certified Burgers — Restaurant in Vaughan

Disappointed experience - not the first time though but I won't be coming back to this location! It looks like I am not alone after reading other reviews that customer service here is non existent. This location is empty all the time yet they take 15+ mins to make your burger. Last time I went with my daughter during March break and asked for the student deal but they didn't want to sell it as they needed an ID to prove my daughter is a school student? Anyways I didn't get hung up on this and asked for the day deal which was get 2 burgers for the price of 1 - I tried it and was ok so I decided to get one for my wife (who was wfh) that's when the issues continued - they didn't want to sell another deal of the day as it was 1 per person so I asked then my daughter doesn't count? and they told me no. That's when I got upset as they didn't want to sell me the student deal or the deal of the day. I told them that it didn't make any sense and asked to speak to the mgr - which was not in there; then I told them that I am coming back to this location again - even though we go there every 2 wks. The cashier came back saying that she called the owner and they could sell me the student deal only - at this point I decided not to spend a penny more in this place so I declined the offer. Hi, I had exactly 15 minutes to get something to eat before I went back to work. I came in put in my order for a signature burger with a poutine the man that took my order said the gravy for the poutine was not ready I decided to go with chicken finger instead. I told him I wanted multigrain bread instead and he told it would be I extra I said ok. He said it would take 10-12 min for order. When it was ready he handed me the bag I checked it and there was no dipping sauce so he gave me the he sauce once I asked. After leaving I realized he never gave me a cup for a drink I went back got a drink. When I got back to work opened my burger and sure enough not the muliti grain bread I asked for ( I have a poppy seed intolerance) I decided then to call. He told me it was my responsibility to review the order and make sure it was correct before leaving and that he never charged me For it as though he was doing me a favour. Beyond that he told me he showed me the screen to confirm the order which he lied about it. Being a business owner myself I feel bad for the person who has made a horrible decision to hire this kind of person as their employee. People like this man retract, and ruin your business because you lose customers like me. I will not being eating at this location again. Good luck with...

Always great food, and amazing service. Raj is so delightful, and always has a smile on her face. I always look forward to seeing her. She takes such great care in preparing the food, and makes sure it's a wonderful dining experience. Always asks to make certain that everything is just right. She is an asset to Hero Burger! Hamza is great also. He's really friendly, and makes eating in a pleasant experience. He makes the food "just right" too. There's a new employee, Joshua, who is super friendly, kind, considerate and goes above and beyond to ensure all is well. Very nice to chat with and like the others, makes delicious food.
