First time eating in at Maple Sushi and it was a very pleasant experience! I liked that you could order with a tablet and if there was anything on the AYCE menu that was not included on the list of options, there was a price on it. So you would not order something without knowing that it costs extra. Service was really great! The waitress was very polite and always spoke with a smile. She made us feel very welcomed. It was also busy for a Thursday during lunch which is always a good sign!
Very clean and spread out. I don’t really like engaging with people when I eat so the booth setting was great and they have many booths!
We had the lunch menu and therefore there was no sashimi but they did have torched sushi which was pretty good for an AYCE. Salmon was fresh! I also really enjoyed the miso soup as it wasn’t too salty. The avocado salad was refreshing and the sauce wasn’t overpowering. I didn’t realise you could also order dim sum and I loved that they had soup dumplings. It does say on the tablet that dim sum takes 20mins to prepare but the wait didn’t really feel that long. Great variety for the lunch menu!
Another really nice to have on the tablet, is if you ordered an item, it would have a red box to show that you have ordered it previously, and therefore it was easy to note what I have tried and what I have not.
My only complaint was that the fried roll wasn’t good and the edamame was raw. My husband and I tried half the edamame and eventually gave up.
I was honestly so stuffed I could only have 1 dessert there but they were so kind as to let us bring the ice cream as takeout (we got 1 each). I had the mango coconut sago and it was pretty good. It did come with some jelly that wasn’t just coconut flavoured but was delicious. It was on the more artificial side as compared to those Chinese desserts places that specializes in these type of desserts but honestly, for an AYCE, I appreciate they provided that option!
They have a promotion where the bubble tea was included and so we ordered 1 each were allowed to take it out as well.
Overall really great experience and value! I would recommend and...

Went during a holiday long weekend, two adult and 1 child bill came up to approx 110-120 no drinks tip included.
Food 3.5/5: sashimi was sliced really thick and was ok. Not really a big fan of big thick slices when it comes to AYCE sushi. Torched salmon sushi was little disappointing was missing some flavour and was a bit bland. Shrimp tempura was actually perfectly battered but had a very oily taste. By dar in my opinion the best dish in their menu was the baked mussels. Very flavourful with the cheesy buttery mixture. Dessert menu was really lacking, no Japanese/Asian style ice cream. And with the ice creams that they do have you’re limited to one serving per person. Crème brûlée was had a jello texture and was definitely over baked. Need more desserts in my opinion.
Service 3.5/5: food was coming out quick for the first order. After that it really went downhill, we came around the end of dinner rush (730ish). We found ourselves ordering items twice since some weren’t arriving. One of our sushi dish even came after we’ve got our dessert served. Even asking for the hill was somewhat a struggle.
Atmosphere 2/5: nothing stands out about this place. Massive tvs on the wall and that pretty much their decor. Washroom was small and somewhat clean. Could be better tho.
Overall 3.5/5: place has really great potential some dishes were good but service definitely needs to be improved. Price was decent for the items being offered. The restaurant also offers free bubble tea for a review, SO DON’T GET FOOLED by all the high 5star reviews. Considering the area doesn’t have alot of sushi joints this is a one time recommendation, but wouldn’t be my...
Read moreAs a 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿 writing this one-star review, I visited this AYCE (All You Can Eat) restaurant with my family a few days after New Year's.
First impressions were okay as we entered the building. The decorations and lighting created a decent atmosphere. Our waitress took a little longer than expected to seat us, and when we sat down, our family noticed some cracks on the table, which gave the impression that the service and maintenance could’ve been better, making the situation a bit embarrassing. To make things worse, our waitress had an annoyed and rude expression which was concerning and annoying.
We ordered sushi rolls and signature dishes through the iPad provided to order food and drinks. After waiting for a while, our food came. Most of the sushi rolls were disappointing, with a poor texture and some being overly chewy and too fresh, which made it seem like they hadn’t been prepared properly.
But that's not the worst part. Have you heard about their ''𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻" offering free Kung Fu Bubble Tea for a five-star review? It’s ridiculous to mislead customers with fake reviews just for free bubble tea. It's sad how people will be dishonest for something so small. Honesty matters more than fake ratings.
In fact, I agree with the other people who left one-star reviews because of this dishonesty act.
I wouldn’t recommend coming back here, but I would suggest trying WIND Japanese and Thai instead. They offer a wider variety of food, and their quality and service are much better than Maple Sushi.
