Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Vaughan

The most dishonest service I have ever experienced. I placed an order that was suppose to arrive at 9:26pm according to their suggested time at around 9:35pm I contacted pizza nova who said the driver leafy 16 minutes ago. We live not even 10 minutes away from the location. I was advised if it did not arrive in a few more minutes to call back - I called back at 9:40pm to tell them the driver still had not arrived - they offered a 50% discount to the order and the driver would be advised. The driver arrived and went to charge me the full cost and I refused and called the number so they could notify the driver of the agreed discount - after he questions why and if I had a code - he did not want me to call the switchboard and he said ok so you are to pay 18.00 (this was suppose to include tax I later found out and the message went to the driver by phone, which he did not check at any point)…..he decided to charge me $22.00 suggesting this was including tax - I had a starving child and didn’t think to much of it - even tipped the driver - when I finally sat down and did the math - I realized that the taxes would not have been that much - it would have been $20.38.

This driver ripped me off - taking advantage of the fact that I was trusting him after he told me to get off the phone with the switchboard and I thought it was weird that he didn’t do the math to make sure he was charging me correctly - I called the switchboard to tell them about what happened - that this driver did not follow protocol and that he robbed me, not only of the discount I deserved, but so much more. Out of principal I recommend that you do not choose this pizza Nova. It is one of the most dishonest service I have ever experienced and I will never use this...

Not sure what's going on with this location. Either your ingredience is becoming sub par because of inflation and Tarrifs or it's lost its ability to make a great pie .

Few weeks back I ordered a panzerotto and the dam thing split in the restaurant while I was eating it. I had to ask for a fork and eat it. Yesterday we ordered a party size pizza with pepperoni it's was burnt on the outer crust half the pizza and seems to be over cooked as it was a hard botton. Should of thought different as the order taker on the phone said 20 to 25 minutes .I got there in 15 minutes thier was a small line up and noticed a party on the oven. Yup it was mine. In my humble opinion it was proudly ordered by someone else and they canceled it. Then reheated for me. Shame on your lack policy if that's the case. My family really did not enjoy the pie last nite. I’ve called for delivery a few times already to this location and the pizza every time has come burnt both underneath the pizza and on top. My sister has ordered in the past many many times and has had no problem until the last 3-5 times as soon as I came to visit and stay at her house. I’m not sure if they have changed they’re kitchen staff recently but the pizza has been an embarrassment and the delivery drivers always rude because we tip what we can but they always expect more and they never have change they tell us. It’s unfortunate that I will have to stop ordering from pizza Nova or at least this location because it’s the only pizza that doesn’t make me sick...
