Big Bone BBQ & Wicked Wings — Restaurant in Vaughan

Been a regular for years... with the new ownership or staff, whatever the case might be, it is time to say good bye. Won't be coming back again.

I called them to place an order... they never picked up. I finally got through but was immediately put on hold. Waited for 10 minutes and nothing. I hung up and decided to just drive up and order in person. I was the only one in the line up. The lady at the cashier didn't even look at me for good 7 minutes. She finally acknowledged but did not apologize. She looked super stressed out I finally got my order in, went outside for a bit and came back in to order a couple beers. That took another 10 minutes for the lady to even look at me. The guy in the kitchen gave me attitude for standing around. All I was doing was trying to get beers while we were waiting. I calmed myself down, tried to be understanding as the lady was obviously new. I was waiting with my beer... theb my order ended up going to someone else. They never apologized.. they just told me that they would make it again. I finally got the food after...

I went out with a couple friends to an area I typically wouldn’t go to eat at. You can smell the smoke literally as soon as you enter the establishment. This is not a place you need to book a reservation for, as we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Think of this place as a hybrid between sit-down and takeout. The menu has a very good selection of comfort sandwiches and platters. I ordered the fantasy burger, which is a lot to eat—it went down nicely. For the table we ordered the Big Bone Combo, which contained ribs and wings, along with a side of fries. I have had better wings but I thought the ribs were great. The prices were good and you’re definitely getting enough food. It’s best to save an appetite before eating here, as I was full just after the sandwich itself. Editing on April 04th: I tried calling several times like a fool......they would not answer the phone, just kept going to voice-mail....living close by, I drove to the location and placed my orders. I noticed the phone off the hook and it stayed off the hook the whole time i was there (20 mins.) No wonder I couldn't get anyone on the phone. If this is how you value customers then I will STOP trying to and find another place to get my wings...is this under new management cause they use to answer the phone. Noticed different people behind the till and cooking too.....anyway I'll find my way to another spot..

While my son liked the Honey Garlic wings I was less impress with their lemon pepper wings. I like dry wings breaded or unbreaded.....these lemon pepper wings had very little flavour and the only flavour that did come out was a slight amount of lemon, didn't see or taste pepper at all. Will try a few more flavours before I move onto...
