Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Vaughan

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Mary Brown’s. My order for 4 regular and 2 spicy sandwiches with large wedges and gravy turned into a frustrating ordeal. Despite placing the order for six sandwiches, we were only charged for three, and subsequently, only received three sandwiches upon arrival.

After realizing the mistake upon reaching home, I contacted the restaurant, and though they acknowledged the error, they only offered to rectify it by providing one free sandwich if we returned the same day. Upon returning to redeem this offer, the drive-thru attendant at 6:02 pm was not only dismissive but also incredibly rude. Despite explaining the situation, she raised her voice and adamantly refused to honor the promise made by the manager.

This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. It’s incredibly disappointing when a restaurant fails to uphold their promises and treats customers disrespectfully. I would not recommend Mary Brown’s to anyone after such a frustrating encounter. Wanted to try the Spicy Big Mary sandwich combo that everyone's been hyping up. Went through the drive thru - which wasn't too busy at 1 p.m. mid-week. The person who took my order was trying to upsell the new Nashville Big Mary, but I don't really love the idea of sweetness in my sandwich, so I decided to go for the spicy one. Substituted the taters for a small macaroni salad, and the combo came with a canned drink. The sandwich is delish - a bit pricy at $12.75 for the combo, but the chicken is huge -a full breast with crispy breading, and actually spicy!
