We got there about an hour and a half before closing. They were telling the guys in front of us that they were running out of chicken shawarma so they couldn't do a full chicken sandwich (looks like they ordered 2 chicken wraps, not sure) but they could do a mix of beef and chicken. Guys ordered, we were standing there for a short while after they were done ordering before staff asked us if we were ready, no big deal. We asked for 2 plates (meals) that were different, one was a chicken plate (not shawarma) and mine was a beef on the rocks (because they said they didn't have enough chicken for a chicken on the rocks). The chicken on the rocks plate was advertised with a picture on their front door, similarly pictured to the likes of Osmows signature plate - covered in garlic sauce with another red sauce on top of it so you would assume it would be like that. We ordered and paid and the staff (younger girl) we dealt with was nice, no complaints there. We waited for maybe 15-17 minutes before they asked what sides for our other dish, and the meat wasn't even ready yet so ours hadn't been started yet. We saw 4 different staff members there in our time in the restaurant and a total of 5 customers including 2 of us, so they were not overly busy. While we were waiting for ours, another staff member (young man) showed the two guys who ordered before us their sandwiches and how big they were, mentioning to them that he gave them extra of everything (including chicken - but I thought there wasnt enough for us?). They were happy. Then also gave them a free plate of potatoes - it would go to waste at the end of the night anyway, why not. They started eating and then we got called up for details of our dishes, at least 10-15 minutes after ordering. They didn't have any salad, so we said just cucumbers and tomatoes, he said he will cut them up - about 5 minutes later he returned with them. My beef on the rocks plate showed up with no sauces and she asked if I wanted any sauce on it - I exclaimed that I thought it came covered in sauce? Like the picture? She said if you want yeah. It feels like they don't really care about food quality or customer service. I say food quality because once we got our food and brought it to the table, I took a bite of the beef and it was dry and cold (the meat itself) - the sauces were pretty tasty. The rice was ok, cooked well. Our second dish had potatoes like the guys got for free - ours had some that were over cooked and a bit dehydrated/charred Not very tasty. Another person who had ordered ahead had come in and was waiting for his order after us. While we were eating our sub par meals another staff member was telling him sorry we don't have this, can we give you some of this instead and we'll give you some extra of this? - I say 'this' because I don't remember the specifics. And then when he was done they apologized to him for the wait. No apologies nor extras nor free anything offered to us. We didn't complain because we didn't really want anything more from this place. For $38 including 2 drinks we should have just gone to almost literally anywhere else and got better food for less money. 2 stars(changed to 1) because I had a nice middle Eastern soda drink that's hard to find, and our server was polite, and the garlic and beef sauces were good. Would not repeat again. Edit: forgot that they forgot to give us a bread with one of our plates, this wasn't a problem they brought one within a minute to the table. Issue was that it didn't seem fresh, maybe microwaved or re-heated on the flat top. Also their 'spicy' sauce is just ketchup with some spicy stuff mixed in. At least they have halal meat. That's what brought us in. Won't bring us in...

Food was good but DO NOT order through MrZagros.com. I paid online through their site and received a confirmation email. The restaurant didn't know this order method existed when I went to pick up. Apparently the order went as an email to the owner's account.
It wasn't a big deal, one employee handled the problem pretty well and they still gave us our meal after the owner called them and then me. However, I didn't appreciate the fact the employees made it sound like I was wrong for ordering using this method instead of "Uber or SkipTheDishes". I was told when leaving to "just call next time" like it was my fault. I also think it's ridiculous that this was a problem at all. Either shut the web order system down or fix it.
Second, two employees had their masks down around their necks. Another one had their nose hanging out. We're in a pandemic and they are preparing food. We all need to get our act together and take...

I’m a bit bummed. We got our usual (chicken shawarma and beef plates), and the quality isn’t as it used to be. We’ve tried Zagros three times since the change in ownership.
The chicken is dry, and the wraps were not sauced nearly enough. I asked for hummus, garlic & tzatziki and I couldn’t taste any of the three. Despite asking for pickles and turnips, my wrap had very little flavour. We usually enjoy how all the sauce drips at the end of the wrap — but these were so dry there was hardly any sauce even at the bottom.
I used to eat here for satisfaction but this time I ate because I had to fill my stomach.
If I could recommend anything to the owner(s), please up the amount of sauce in the wraps and prevent the chicken from getting too dry. That will help a lot.
Also, try the product yourselves. Figure out what ratio of meet to veggie to sauce is ideal. Otherwise you will...
