We normally visit a different bakery in the neighbourhood but wanted to give this one a chance. We ordered 6 different items: Red velvet cake: 0/5 extremely dry, not enough icing, tasted 3-4 days old and I ate it immediately when I got home. This is one of my favourite cakes and I couldn’t even finish half, I threw it out. Red velvet cheesecake: 2/5, cheesecake part was ok, red velvet cake was again very dry and tasted old. Ate it the next day. Tiramisu: 1/5 felt dry, not fresh at all. Ate the same day within 20 mins. Pistachio cannoli: 3/5 Underwhelming, but fine otherwise. Tart: 4/5, was good. Would have been better with Nutella. Didn’t taste very fresh, but I ate it the following day. Strawberry cheesecake: 5/5, very good. No complaints

Great Bakery! I love this bakery! But there is one thing the owner must pay attention. I found this lead ball from an egg tart 3 times in a row(I found 2 and my friend find one. From both plain and chocolate tart.). I worked for a bakery before so I understand this could happen. I think a machine or the process should be investigated. And anyone who love Seara's egg tart should be careful when you take a bite. I bought 6 pcs of tart in a plastic package that has mix of normal and chocolate. Egg tarts in the shelve were ok and no complain. Only tarts in a package has a issue.

Seara Bakery and Pastry – First Experience via Too Good To Go My first experience with Seara Bakery and Pastry was through a Too Good To Go purchase. For $5.99, I received a very generous portion of desserts and pastries. Although the items weren’t particularly Portuguese as described, everything was fresh and tasty. Considering the price, it was still an excellent deal and a fun way to discover what they offer. Overall, I’m glad I tried it and would recommend giving them a shot, especially if you enjoy surprise bakery treats at great value.

I unfortunately have to leave a 1 star review based on my experience last night (Sunday, April 8 at approximately 7:45 pm). I have purchased from the Keele St location numerous times, as well as the Weston Seara location and have always enjoyed the cheesecake. In fact, we drove 25 minutes 1 way just to go to the Weston location for dessert. After ordering a slice of strawberry cheesecake yesterday, I was in total disgust. I ordered take out, and before leaving requested utensils. Outside of the shop, I wanted to take a bite, so I attempted to cut the cheesecake and noticed it was almost flattened out and very hard, hard almost to cut. I did manage to cut off a piece and put it on my mouth, and the texture was nowhere near as soft as it normally is. I took a better look at the cheesecake in my container and to my disgust, on the bottom I noticed big round green MOLD spots. I immediately spit out what I was eating, rinsed my mouth out and marched back in to show the supervisor. She apologized, refunded the money, but didn't do much else. It's one thing for something to not be "the freshest" and sell it as fresh, but for mold to be on it, how long has that cheesecake been sitting there? And it wasn't like it was the last slice left either; there were several. I got my money back, and was surprised not to have been offered something else complimentary in an attempt to keep a returning customer. I was nauseated the rest of the night. I didn't realize pastries aren't baked in-house at this location, but rather are brought in from the other stores. After spending nearly an hour driving to and from this Seara location, and going home nauseated as a result, I do not plan...

DON'T BUY THE BREAD!! Been going to this bakery for years to their Toronto location. I was up in Vaughan today and decided to stop to grab papa secos (buns), as I was bagging them, it didn't feel as fresh bread normally does (fluffy). I was going to put the bread back and thought to myself maybe it's just me. Went to the register to pay and decided to ask the lady when the bread was made and she assured me it was made in the early morning and they always have fresh bread. The bread is clearly not fresh! Bread always goes fast in my house. My son took one bite and mentioned the bread doesn't taste fresh. If I'm asking you if the bread is fresh, don't look me in my eyes and swear it is when you and I both know it wasn't!...
