One of my favourite sushi spots in Toronto. From the outside, you would never guess how incredible the quality of the fish and sushi is. I was blown away by the amount of food you could get for a relatively low price, and once again, the quality is almost unmatched for what you’re paying. Within the first week of dining at this restaurant, I came back two more times to try other items. To no surprise, every roll I tried was as good if not better than the last.
The service is great! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. All servers and chefs greet you with a kind face and warm smile as you walk in. You are served complimentary tea with every meal. However, sometimes it does take a server quite a while to come around to your table for the bill, but that is the only con I can express about this restaurant.
Overall, this is an excellent place to stop by if you’re looking for a sushi place to dine at. Very affordable, high quality and wonderful service. I’ll be coming...
Read moreThe dining area was spacious and well themed, and staff were always available, changing out our tea as we ran empty and providing takeout containers when the time came. The tempura had a fun variety, including pumpkin, broccoli, asparagus, and even large onion rings. We were most impressed by the tuna, feeling much more real than our other go-to spots. The teriyaki was set on a nice bed of onions and cabbage, and each order came with plenty of wasabi and ginger to satisfy all the enjoyers in our group. The restaurant also took American Express as payment, to our pleasant surprise, as our card was not accepted by every sushi location we visit. However, I did find that the rice present in nigiri and maki was very loose and was prone to crumble, making it a challenge to dip in soy sauce. Outside this, the trip made for a very satisfying close to our night, and I believe they certainly live up to their...
Read moreVery good survive. Very nice looking restaurant. However price are a little bit high for sushi that is slightly better than grossery store sushi. When I go to sushi restaurants I look for rice and rice texture. Both are very bad for that price point. Even the Tomogoyaki which is considered in Japan as the most fair way to critic a sushi restaurant has horrible texture. I ordered it as a dessert and test the restaurant in Japan. 日本が大好きですから、日本語を勉強しました。I know a grab and go restaurant with cheaper prices with way better quality sushi. Although the seafood udon compared to the sushi was way better still coming close to being able to compaired to extremely good once and actually really good...
