Coffee of the World/catering — Restaurant in Waterloo

Been to this store a few times and it's always been great--in fact, it's gotten better and better each time. The first time I came in was during the grand opening event. They gave me a free gift from their kitchen collection (a nice decorative spatula) and I signed up for their points card. At that point it was mostly just about the coffee pods and the small selection of bakery items. Over the last several months, I have gone back in many times. It's the only place I buy my K-Cups! The staff is friendly, the selection is amazing and they now offer eat-in meals, bakery items, drinks, accessories and a wide range of cool/unique snacks. It's also always very clean, it's affordable (I just bought 25 K-Cups today for about $15, my sister got a key-lime tart and two drinks for under $5) and you can even ask to have a K-Cup prepared for you while you shop. This was a great spot to find! Don't be mistaken by the outside, it's more of a retail shop than a cafe. Loved the variety of coffee options from beans, to grinds, to cups in different roasts and flavours. The flavoured syrup varieties are quite diverse as well. If you're looking to create a home coffee bar this place will have you stocked at an excellent price. Bonus points for offering to grind the coffee beans for you at checkout if needed. They also carry some other misc. goodies like dog treats, protein bars, and other snacks.

The woman at the checkout was absolutely lovely, I can only assume she is the owner. She gave me a banana muffin welcoming me to the store, and it reminded me exactly of the muffins my mom would make. It’s been over a year I dropped in to buy coffee and tea for our office in Waterloo. The price, selection and friendly service kept me coming back for more. In addition to the coffee and tea, Coffee of the World is our go to place for all our catering needs. With just a simple text message to Jeong she will prepare excellent sandwiches, delicious wraps and crunchy veggie trays. The trays are beautifully prepared, on time and full of high quality ingredients. I believe we have ordered 50 trays over the past year and we are completely satisfied with the service....
