I recently dined at the Local Kabob Place and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both casual meals and small gatherings. The décor is a tasteful blend of modern and traditional elements, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that makes you feel at home. The staff was attentive and friendly, providing excellent service from the moment I walked in. They were knowledgeable about the menu and quick to offer recommendations based on my preferences. The food was served promptly, and the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was to my liking. The highlight of my visit was, of course, the food. I tried the chicken kabob, which was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The marinade was flavorful without being overpowering, and the grilling added a nice smoky touch. The beef kabob was equally impressive—succulent and packed with rich flavors, the meat was well-marinated and had a great balance of spices. The lamb kabob was a standout dish, tender and flavorful, melting in my mouth with aromatic spices enhancing the natural taste of the lamb. For those who prefer vegetarian options, the vegetarian platter was a treat, including a variety of grilled vegetables, falafel, and hummus, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The rice and salad that accompanied the kabobs were fresh and well-prepared. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the salad was crisp with a tangy dressing that complemented the main dishes perfectly. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided, offering great value for the experience and flavors. Overall, Local Kabob Place offers an exceptional dining experience with delicious food, great service, and a pleasant ambiance. Whether you’re a fan of kabobs or just looking for a satisfying meal, this place is definitely worth a visit. I will certainly be returning to try more of their menu...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kabob Place, a fantastic restaurant located in Waterloo, Ontario.
The kabobs were cooked to perfection - juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The biryani rice was cooked to perfection, with a delicious aroma that made my taste buds tingle with anticipation. The combination of biryani rice and kabobs that I tried was out of this world. I specially recommend everyone to try the combination of the vaziri kabob with biryani rice.
In addition to the amazing food, the atmosphere of the restaurant was also impressive. The space was clean, welcoming, and well-decorated, making for a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. The service was excellent too. The staff, specially the head chef Mansour, were friendly, accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable meal. Furthermore, you get free tea after your meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend Kabob Place to anyone who loves delicious kabobs and flavorful rice dishes. The quality of food is way more than the price you pay. The food, ambiance, and service are all first-class and make for an exceptional dining experience.

Read moreI am an Iranian who truly knows what authentic Iranian and Persian food is. Whenever I want to test whether a restaurant has a good chef who really understands Persian cuisine, I order barg kebab or shishlik (lamb chops).
It was my first time here, and I ordered shishlik. Honestly, it was a shame to call it shishlik! They clearly don’t even know which cuts of lamb should be used. What they served was just some random pieces with a little bone, put together and called “shishlik.”
If you are Iranian, please don’t waste your money on this dish. If you are not Iranian, please note that this is not what we call or make as shishlik in Persian cuisine. At best, you might call it an Afghan-style kebab.
In no part of Iran would you ever see such a version of shishlik. I am very disappointed that they misuse the Persian kebab name and serve this to customers. I wish I could give zero star
I suggest search on google this phrase and you will find the ample good resources regarding what cuts are considered shishlik with many good photos for your references (best resources are in Persian language)
