I would really like to give this establishment a 5 star, but there are just minor blemishes that prevent a perfect rating. Treat this as a 4.4 / 5.
I've been to this truck twice in a week, the first time I did not receive the dipping sauce for the Birria taco I ordered. This was my first issue that affects the rating. To be honest, that is the only real error on their part that affects the rating, the other stuff is just my preference.
Other factors that prevent a perfect rating is that on their truck sign they still have "Mexican Street Corn" on the menu, even though it is not in season. I believe they just erased the price to indicated to potential customers that they do no serve it currently. This is a little confusing, if it is not available right now, rub it off your chalk board menu. Continuing, they do not offer Mexican coca cola. Yeah it is a petty gripe, but for tacos as good as these the only drink to quench my thirst would be Mexican coca cola, not the nasty American version. Finally, the menu lists "3 tacos for 18$ or 6$ each". There is no deal here, Even offering 3 tacos for 17$ would make the world of difference. It incentivizes the customer to get the standard 3 taco experience while feeling they got a better deal by doing so.
For the good, I've tried the following tacos; Birria, Al pastor, Pollo Tinga, and Choriqueso. All of them were packed with filling and not skimping out on the meat, flavourful, and just yummy overall. They were made quick and the truck staff were kind. You may think 18$ for 3 tacos is pricey but considering the quality and how much filling each taco has, it is well worth the money.

Read moreI stopped by to get Tacos from Los Rolling Tacos Superbiwl Sunday. They are not usually open Sundays but I lucked out due to the big game. The truck is parked in front of the kitchen unit on Columbia and I was confused where to go but just go into building and they will set you up. I ordered 3 Tacos al Pastor and 3 Tacos Birringas plus an order of churros for dessert.
The Tacos Birria were full of beautifully slow cooked beef brisket and overflowing with cheese. It was heavy but full of flavour. The salsa that comes with it is powerful and full of flavour. Juice from a lime wedge helps cut the fattiness. When ordering I recommend eating them right away as much of the crispness was lost in transit.
The Tacos al pastor had wonderfully charred pineapple to compliment the shredded pork. Sadly the pork was somewhat dried out but the Tacos were still delicious and very filling.
The churros were small for only getting 2 and the chocolate overwhelmed the pastry. They were delicious but I probably wouldn't order again.
I was also given a free sample of horchata which was the best I have tasted outside Mexico. I will definitely order that in the future.
All in all I very much enjoyed and will...
Read moreHonestly the best authentic Mexican tacos I've eaten! I ordered all of their tacos but the birria tacos hit so different! I definitely recommend for first-timers. The tortilla is nice and crisp, the meat and toppings are fresh and juicy. And it comes with a dip on the side which kinda balances everything out! The owner was super nice and he was so shocked/happy to hear that I came all the way from Guelph for his tacos (definitely worth the 25-minute drive). He was so genuine, telling me his story and how he started this business. He also told me their first anniversary is coming up in April, which is shocking to hear that they've only been in business for a year!? Seemed like they've been doing it for a long time! Anyways, I just felt so welcomed in the restaurant and I'm excited to eat their tacos again next time they come to Guelph! P.s thank you for...
