With a vision to create something uniquely Canadian, authentic, quick, and delicious, Score Pizza has been making its way around Ontario and Nova Scotia, with 6 current locations and 1 more coming up next month in Kitchener. Eager to see what the buzz was about, I visited their Waterloo location (80 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J 1P5). Located in the picturesque Uptown Waterloo, the fast casual eatery has been a place for university students to indulge in Canada's favorite comfort food since they first opened their doors a few years ago. Freshly made from a stone-fire oven, the K-Town pizza, topped up with a generous serving of mozzarella, red sauce, chicken, bacon, red onions, hot banana peppers, and a BBQ drizzle, had a smoky flavor that created a delicious fusion of Korean, Italian, and Canadian flavors. The aroma and taste gave the pizza a unique character that had an utterly memorable taste. The side of garlic bread made it even better - a combination of fresh garlic and olive oil can never fail a meal, which made for a lunch well worth its price! Should you find yourself in Kingston, St. Catherine, Ottawa, Newmarket, Halifax, or Kitchener-Waterloo craving a pizza or just looking for an eatery to hang out with your friends, I would highly recommend Score Pizza. With an array of pizza options and enough ingredients to create your perfect pizza, you are sure to find something to your liking here. Highly recommended!

Read moreI love coming to this place and have been coming since 2021 because of the great food. We always get the garlic dip to eat with the pizza but recently they’ve been hesitant to give it. We offer to pay every time and they STILL make an issue about it. The person I was with wanted more garlic dip and the worker told us to just come up and he’ll refill the container for him and told me to come up when I wanted to as well. When I wanted a refill, another worker came and told us we had to pay for it. We were confused because the other worker refilled it with no charge but we still said okay we’ll pay. Then the worker proceeded to refill it and said it’s okay but then still went on to say numerous times that we have to pay in the future. This has happened multiple times and it’s very frustrating because whenever we walk in, they recognize us. We ALWAYS offer to pay BEFORE checkout and they never charge us but then make an issue about paying. Please have a standard rule about this or something so we are not put in an awkward position every time. When one worker tells us one thing and another tells us another thing, it’s very...
Read moreJust ordered a pizza and watched those who made it not wash their hands once. Edit: to clarify Person A was working the line and greeting me with gloves on his hands. Then when my pizza was in the oven he proceeded to take of his gloves and use his cell phone. He then did not wash his hands and touched multiple kitchen surfaces including an order which he then walked out of the restaurant with. Person B came in from the outdoors, walked to the back out of sight, walked back onto the line filled up a water bottle and did not wash his hands. He did however stand on the line on his phone and touch multiple kitchen surfaces including my meal at no point were gloves on his hands. Person C was on the line, not wearing gloves, left the line when Person B came into the restaurant into the back, got back to the line and did not wash his hands upon returning to the line. Thankfully Person C did not touch anything. I threw the...
