I've worked in retail and fast food places and quite different systems all round. I know how the systems basically work. I was charged twice once from two different employees. From what I gathered is their credit/debit system does not work directly with their POS system. Meaning they manually type in the payment to receive the funds and then confirm on the POS system payment has gone through.
I paid for my order and recieved it no issues, as I was walking out a different employee from the one who I ordered from claimed I did not pay/my card didn't go through. I didn't question as I used my husband's card first then used my visa to ensure it would go through. When in the car I asked my husband to check his account to ensure the payment didn't go through and in question as to why it 'didnt work' as it is a newer card that's given no problems since having it. We find out yes it worked for both cards and went in to have this resolved.
When talking to the employees they were friendly but I'm not thrilled about the fact they would not give us the funds back on any card. Knowing that many machines allow refunds with proper codes AND OR a "key card" leads me to think they had no access to it or aren't trained fully on how to do it. Read moreVery disappointed with this location. Tried ordering burgers 2 weeks ago, and there was too much of a language barrier. The person on the mic had no idea what we were asking for. We ended up leaving without ordering, and went somewhere else. Last night we decided to give it another try. Again there was a language barrier, but this time wasn't quite so bad. We got our order home, and realised our gravy was forgotten. I should have known better, and checked before leaving the parking lot, but after waiting at the window for almost 20 minutes, we just wanted to get home. So, after discovering the missing items my husband called the store. The lady he spoke to said if he came back, they would meet him at the front door with it. Ok! No waiting in a long line up, great! Hubby gets home with it, and we discover it is cold. I dont mean cooled off from the drive home....it was stone cold. I'm sorry, but it will be a long time before we are back, if at all. There are plenty of other places to go in town for icecream and burgers. Oh, and when my husband asked if we could have a credit or something for our next order, he was offered a small sundae.....thanks,...
Read moreThe food was ok, a little sloppily put together with not a lot of toppings (we got banana splits) but the staff really needs work. They were slow, uninterested, unorganized, and lacked basic customer service friendliness. They offered curt answers anddid not offer suggestions or alternatives (due to a food allergy we tried to order a different topping but were just told they didn't have something when we asked about it, not listing what they DID have which would have saved time & effort). They also did not seem to focus on cleaning tables when people left or even attempting to just go a little extra to create a positive experience. It appeared to all there that they didn't enjoy their job. We did hear several comments from many frustrated customers feeling this place could benefit from diversity in hiring to avoid language and cultural barriers that could potentially be affecting business, but, as this was our 1st time visiting and these ones were locals I cannot say if this would be the case or not but management may want to consider diversity and/or more customer based training because it is one of the most seriously lacking places I...
