So, this is the second time I have been treated rudely by a drive thru employee and I feel like the franchise owner should know who they have working for them. I'm in my work truck, sweating and working hard all day. I decide to grab a coffee and a sandwich. I drive up, only person in drive-thru having detected a hint of crank in the employee's tone. I get to the window where a hockey stick is holding a pinpad.. This is good. I tap and it doesn't work. She abruptly tells me I have to insert. I do, but I'm not grabbing the pinpad because my job touches many people per day. In a very snotty voice she says "can you hold the pinpad please?" I said I thought we weren't supposed to. I grab it but I'm grossed out now and don't want to be rude but I no longer trust this restaurant. As I said, this is the second time. Then she hands me my food and I think to myself, I know she hasn't changed those gloves because it was too much for her to hold a hockey stick. Whether she has had a bad day, a bad life or bad customers is not an excuse. I have had bad, abusive customers and smiled at the next one. You don't have to be a brainiac, just have a personality when you're dealing with the public. I drove away feeling like I bothered her by...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend come here alott usually drive thru. But today afternoon there was a line-up so she chose to go in. The afternoon supervisor has no sense of customer service. I don't know her name I think Becky (not sure). We thought she was supervisor because she was sending ppl on brk. My girlfriend just pointed out to the guy working on food that there was a line up so we chose to come in... And the lady who took the order(supervisor) said..." Yea we do not normally get 2 latte orders". No one talks like that to a customer on top of that she was loud and rude.. She took did the milk froth 3 times saying it's not getting hot. My girlfriend chose to ignore and not get into argument but when she came with the latte she asked if the one is with 3 sugar and the other with oat milk.. she gave an approving disgruntled look. In all honesty we come here quiet often with the same order. But this attitude is not at all accepted in customer...
Read moreThey held a moment of silence for Remembrance Day and I happened to walk in right in the middle of that moment of silence, to meet with a client. Of course, I walked in and started talking to the employee behind the counter, trying to order some coffee, because that's what you typically do when you walk into a coffee shop. How was I to know that it was a "moment of silence" at that very moment I happened to walk in? None of the staff bothered to tell me what was going on. Then, one of the customers proceeded to denigrate and insult me for daring to speak during a moment of silence which I had absolutely no idea was being observed (considering that I had just walked into the restaurant). The staff did nothing to ameliorate the situation or otherwise assist. If your establishment is going to do something like this, you should consider hiring employees that have some sense and decency. I guess that's too much to ask...
