Pita Pit — Restaurant in Welland

We placed our order through the Pita Pit app and the estimated time was 25 minutes; my issue was not about the pick up time, (as much as I agree that for two items it would not take the 25 min quoted time) We ordered from across town and when we did arrive, we were parked out front and waiting in the truck as we knew we were early, there were no other customers coming or going the entirety of our waiting time. The entire time we waited the girls were standing together talking and cleaning up a few things. We figured that since we placed the order over ten minutes before our arrival and that the girls were just hanging around that it would be ready so we went in to get the order. The problem that I have is that the past three consecutive times that I've ordered from this location the EXACT same thing happens... we show up and they have no idea what order we're talking about, then they look at the iPad and say "oh just one minute" as they have not even started the order. When I expressed my frustration with the girls, they not only did not offer an apology or any means of compensation but they were hesitant and stand-offish about giving the managers contact information (who may I add- did not seem to care in the slightest). To me this is an unacceptable way for a business to go about especially when it's continually happening within the same location and when I'm spending anywhere from $30-60 per meal for only two people.

Will not return to...

I don't eat here often so I gave it a try with my wife after receiving a coupon in the mail as the pitas can be quite expensive. The "large" pita is not large, it's small, very small, with a small portion of meat. I ordered the Philly cheese steak (which comes with a tiny scoop of cheese) and my wife ordered the twisted chicken. Very disappointed to be hungry after finishing our pitas. There was also a communication barrier with the loud noises, talking through glass and mask wearing, it was very difficult to get my order across. The folks behind me also dealt with a communication barrier as well.

The restaurant was clean, the vegetables were fresh and the employees were courteous. Needless to say, they didn't win me over...

Never again. Ordered a regular wrap (no combo) and kids meal along with a regular smoothie and was APPALLED that it came to $35. Scanned my pita app to use $5 in rewards, and BEFORE paying, decided this was far too expensive, I’d like to remove the smoothie. I was then told they cannot void the smoothie without having to renter the entire order again. I said “ok… please do that” and was then told I would loose my $5 reward and it could no longer be honoured. That it left my account already. This is absurd. I haven’t even completed my order by paying, and you’re saying my reward points are now gone and you can’t edit my existing order? I was so angry and outraged by the lack of customer service I had to walk out....
