Normally, we have zero issues with the service and quality at this location, however... for the second time in as many months (ordering from here is an occasional treat for us), our order was missing items. Last time we were missing 2 hashbrowns (one was part of the meal that was ordered and the one we added as an extra item). This time we were once again shorted a hashbrown from one of the 2 meals we ordered. In addition to the missing hashbrown, we were also missing the toy and the yogurt tube that comes with the "Hot Cakes Happy Meal".
I ordered using the mobile app, and picked it up inside at the counter. Considering how empty the place was inside (approx 7:20am) and how few cars were in the drive thru lane, there is no reason for them to "forget" three, THREE items while packing the bag, especially considering the fact that when making a "HotCakes" Happy Meal to go, they're supposed to put the yogurt tube, toy, hashbrown, napkins/straw/utensils, butter and syrup into the regular "Happy Meal" box and then stack said box on top of the hotcakes container inside of the large take out bag.
The other meal was a sausage and egg McGriddle meal, which comes with a hashbrown and a drink. The sandwich, hashbrown and napkins are supposed to be placed into the med sized take out bag and then placed into the large bag with the other meal and then both drinks placed on the side or in a tray.
I dont know why they neglected to give me all the items I ordered, or what excuse they might give for why they were forgotten, but the facts remain the same... I was charged full price for everything and didn't get everything I paid for, and I wasnt aware there was anything missing until I arrived at home and started setting out the food at the table.
Considering I do not drive and live a good 20mins (on a bike) from this location, it is not easy for me to just "go back and complain/get the items" I'm missing. Yes, perhaps I should have checked the bag before leaving, but typically when one orders food, and they hand you your bag so you can go home and enjoy it, you're expecting everything you've ordered to actually be in the bag!
Either way, I will be contacting McDonalds to file a proper complaint about this, considering how much everything costs these days with the rate of inflation and the cost of living, no one can afford to be paying for things they aren't recieving. Also? I'm really not a big fan of being ripped off by a MULTI-BILLION dollar...

Today, I had ordered a double quarter meal with a PLAIN BUN. I received a plain bun but also a plain burger. Went back into the store to have it corrected. The manager even wrote down my order infront of me. Double quarter PLAIN BUN! I explained I would never be back to this location as having mobility issues I can’t keep coming in to have mistakes that shouldn’t happen! I can’t have seeds for medical reasons…. I get home, open my bag, plain bun, AND PLAIN BURGER AGAIN!!!
Get better staff including managers! I repeated the order 4/5 times and they still can’t listen!!!
I will not be returning to the restaurant, even being a former employee when I was a kid…
McDonald’s do better! You have lost a customer because you simply can’t listen to an order and get it right! What is the point of using a drive thru that you have to go into the building anyways? And they still got it wrong the second time!
Absolutely brutal….. if I could give it negative stars I would but sadly that’s not an option.
Follow up: After sending a complaint to head office… EVEN HEAD OFFICE cannot pay attention to detail. I got a generic email back. However my first name is Shawn not Shana. Even worse I replied to the initial email when I was addressed as Shana and got yet a second response from a different person addressing me as Shana! Read moreI have tried countless times to let this location redeem themselves and I’m over it! Ordered off Uber a few times and always missing wraps or burgers. I also ask for ketchup never receive it same with straw idk how they expect u to drink lol! I called to report an issue once my food arrived via Uber I had spent 95$ I was missing 4 burgers 4 wraps and 2 milk shakes and 2 fries the woman who claimed to be the manger was beyond ignorant huffing and puffing and stating it wasn’t there problem to report it to Uber I’m sorry but how is this not ur problem??? I contact Uber and they offered me a refund which would take 7 days to be returned which is ridiculous cause I was feeding my family dinner that night!!! Me being a decent person decided to give them yet again another chance, I go through drive thru after leaving the hospital. I order 3 large meals 4 snack wraps 2 happy meals and 2 shakes, I get home and see after paying for large combos that they give me a small fry which means they charged me the 10 plus dollars and served me the new 5$ meal lol! So now there out here robbing people of there hard earned money and for what???
