I have to say I used to enjoy going here and I have spent a lot of money and so have my friends and family. I had the most disappointing experience in any restaurant, bar, sportsbar etc of my life and I'm not being dramatic. I went in with my 2 year old for a dinner after some fun at zippies and I stood there for 10 minutes at a table waiting for a server to come talk to me so I could ask for a high chair as my 2yr old wont sit still and I couldn't relax until this happened. Servers went back and fourth not once making eye contact or even giving me a simple greeting with the assurance someone would be right with me. Finally I packed my little up and left extremely disappointed and upset as I know this experience had ruined this place for me and everyone else I know that goes there is completely appalled. Word of mouth will make or break small businesses in this town and I hope the owner realizes she must lost a lot of loyal customers and income. Robin was one of the servers as was the skinny brunette that's a server there as well. I cant blame the bar tender as she was by herself and running around. This place used to be great but the food and service has declined so much that its pathetic. The owner is so eager to sell the place that's shes totally checked out and could careless about her patrons or the state of her restaurant which is filthy. I highly do not recommend this place at all. Food sucks, service is beyond horrible, and the beer has been rotten last two times I went...

Absolutely terrible service. I've been coming here for years & have had not one complaint until lastnight. Friends & I were there lastnight around 9:30-10:00 oclock. After sitting down we waited a good 10-15 minutes before anybody acknowledged us. It was busy so we shrugged it off. However, it got worse. Anytime we needed anything I would have to interupt the staff from socializing together. Which again, whatever but I did not need the attitude from your server Rea, specifically. After waiting a half an hr without a drink she finally came around and asked if we needed anything. I politely told her I was ok as I didn't want to wait any longer. She then proceeded to walk away without an apology or anything, as she walked passed our table again she then yelled " the waitresses can't read your mind!" Pissed off we immediately got our bills & admittedly tipped poorly due to the "service" we had received. As we were getting our coats on to leave, Rae than began to gloat about how she had "already gotten two $50 tips today so we didn't phase her" .......... This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only is it extremely rude but very unprofessional. I work in a customer service driven industry & I know if I were to ever talk to a customer this way I would immediately be fired. Because I work in St.Catharines, naturally I will recommend places to go for good food/drinks in Welland. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone if that is how your guests...

I called at 12:20am to place an order because their google page said they were open until 2am. An employee answer and greeted me with the store name, I said I'd like to place an order. She said that they're closed. So I asked "what time do you close because google says you close at 2?" and she responded "no, it says we close at 11." To which I responded, "no, it says 2am I'm looking at it now and I can screenshot it" and she says "okay I'm transferring you to the bartender." When I get to her, she asks how she can help. I say "I'm not sure, I'm not even sure why I was transffered, I tried to place an order, she told me you were closed and I asked what time you closed. I told her google said you close at 2, she told me I was wrong and then transferred me." The woman on the phone says she doesn't know what happened in the previous conversation because she wasn't there (I get that), then she says hours have changed cause of covid(I also get and assumed that) and then she said they're unable to change their google hours(that I don't get cause I see businesses updating it daily) but I say I understand that. I wasn't mad that the store was closed. I didn't need the call to be escalated. And all I would have liked was that employee owning up to her misinformation . Instead, she told me I was wrong and then when I told her I was looking right at it she transferred me to a bartender who apparently had no idea what was going on. Not impressed with...

I called around 5:30 before the big USA vs Canada 4 Nations game last night. It was loud and obviously busy but the woman who answered the phone didn’t rush me off the line when I began asking if they could accommodate Celiac Disease in anyway. I was just hoping my son could enjoy some fries with his root beer and to my shock, she began listing off multiple items that could be made in their GLUTEN FREE FRYER, along with pizza and burgers. She stated that one of the managers has a gluten dietary restriction and that they do their very best to avoid cross contact with gluten and keep customers with Celiac Disease safe. Considering there have been “fine dining” restaurants that I’ve been to that couldn’t be bothered to find a way to safely make any meal gf, this is an example of why one should not judge a book by its cover. Kudos to Tailgates for understanding the seriousness of CD and the server who double and triple checked with the kitchen that our son’s wings were going to be safe for him. Grateful that they are located in our own backyard for our son to eat wings with Dad and watch some hockey.

You can clearly see the directions for an allergy to bell peppers and onions. My food was DELIVERED with EXTRA bell peppers and onions. We called the restaurant and the lady offered to make us a new meal if we PICKED IT UP. Wow. Just wow… So my husband drove to the restaurant, despite us having had delivery and went to pickup a replacement. Meanwhile his meal is sitting at home now getting cold while he has to go out - the restaurant did not offer to deliver despite their error. My husband asks to speak to the manager and the manager did not take any responsibility at all - he blamed it on skip the dishes. Their restaurant made the meal in their kitchen. They CLEARLY have the allergy written on the ticket in large print. No responsibility taken whatsoever. Horrible customer service. I can’t believe the lack of care they took to rectify the issue. To top it off, I had to reheat my husbands meal in the microwave because it was cold by the time he returned. You’ve lost our business.

When we got there the restaurant was pretty empty. Our server greeted us quickly and was very friendly. We enjoyed chatting with her. I had the tacos. I thought they would be made with hard shells, or at least not like a chicken wrap. They were quite bland. There was next to no taco seasoning, it tasted like plain ground beef. There was none of the taco sauce on them that the menu said they would include. Hardly any cheese. I didn't finish them. My boyfriend found his burger to be bland too. On a more positive note, the poutine I had for my side was really good! Fresh cut fries, and the gravy was almost sweet. Next time I will probably try their pizza and wings, which seem to be the menu items they are known for.
