WingsUp! Welland — Restaurant in Welland

We were curious about this Wings Up franchise so my sister and I decided to check out this one in the Fitch Plaza. Apparently the owner had purchased this location two weeks ago. What can I say about this new owner. The NICEST, FRIENDLIEST and most GENUINE person ever! I was there for quite a while ordering (As I often am when I am trying something new, and most people lose patience with me. But not this guy. He was awesome) In fact I didn't know it was the owner until after I placed the order. I was super impressed with all the staff here. They genuinely love their jobs and it comes across in their service. So for service definitely 5 stars. If I could give more believe me I WOULD!!!

The establishment is very clean as well. We were there for take out, but I would have no problem eating there. That's how clean it is.

Onto the food. I am a chicken wing specialist (In my mind at least) and 9 times out of 10 if I go anywhere to eat I will usually choose wings cuz well they're my favourite. And now I can add Wings Up on Fitch Street to my wing places to frequent! Wings were delicious! Mac n cheese bites, also delicious. Oh and the sandwich. Garlic bread sandwich!!!! YUMMMM. I didn't like the sauce as much on the sandwich but I will go there again and try the sandwich in a different sauce cuz that Sammy was the best I ever tried minus the wing sauce chosen.

On April 12th I ordered wings and this is the condition I got them in hard and dried out chicken wings I will attached the photos for everyone to see .I called the establishment to get it rectified and the supervisor said they will prepare a batch and never call to verify if they prepared the batch .that night I felt ill from eating some of the wings and called the next morning to find out if I can get back a proper set of wings since I had not been called or anything the previous day only to hear I get a refund from door dash which was a credit of $26 dollars from the $93 I spent and they will not be able to give me a full refund or even the wings as promised.This place is dishonest and wings...

Chicken is fresh and tasty, Staff is Friendly. Son and I tried the smile sandwich, the meat itself was juicy, crispy and of good size for the price, the generous portion of potatoe wedges were also hot, fresh and good quality. It's good to see a locally owned franchise in welland, the owner is a hardworking guy from the area and I wish him all the best in the future.

My only suggestion is the price of the wings, although the price is not too crazy, and considering the cost of everything is going up these days, a small reduction in price would serve the blue collar welland demographic better, while competing with the already established wing spots in the area.
