Wendy's — Restaurant in Welland

Good wendys but terrible staff#1, everyday when I go for lunch, I like to collect points to save money since I go so often, but, when I'm trying to get my app ready, the cashier that is always working at that time is giving me bad attitude saying "hurry up" and "do you really need to collect points" making me feel like a ass when I'm just trying to save money and not making me feel welcome. She also sighs whenever she sees me and I am always kind to her yet I don't get the same back. Also of SHE messes up when taking the order while I'm trying to use a online offer and has to get the manager, she side eyes me and makes me feel like it's MY FAULT??!! #2, this same lady every day at lunch also is rude to me after I order. At other wendys, they have straws so when I ask her (shes just standing there cause theres no line) for a straw, she responds in a rude manner saying "no straws, we don't have any" (says it more rude then sounds) and makes me upset because she is not even being polite which all fast food workers should be. And by the way, I work at McDonald's and if one of my coworkers would treat customers the way she does, they would be fired. I don't know how she gets away with being such a mean person. #3, one time I wanted a chicken burger and when I was ok with waiting, she said "you really can't just get a spicy chicken burger" when I ordered a regular because it would be faster for them to make and when I said no, she insisted that I should get the spicy which made me feel offended.

I also came one time after this lady's shift ended and the place was then kind to me and very polite. This lady must be fired or at least put somewhere away from counter because I never wanna go to wendys anymore at school because I'm scared she's gonna be rude to me and treat me with attitude. She works (at least) mon-friday at around 12 30 (that's when I see her) and she has short hair. Please deal...

I went through the drive thru a few days ago. I ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, a Large Chili and Ice water. I get this same order usually once per week at this same location.

When I ordered the person on the intercom said it would be cheaper if I went with a Combo. I said if that was the case then sure, why not? The screen showed $12 and change. While it didn't seem like it was really any cheaper it did seem close to the same price that I usually pay, which was fine with me.

When I got to the window I was then told $14.51 which seemed high. I expressed my concern to the worker and she said "oh well I thought it would be cheaper as a combo". Despite me expressing concern she made no offer or attempt to rectify the issue and after a long day at work I was not in the mood for a debate and just paid it.

I got my food and went on my way, but I'm not at all happy with this experience. This worker should have been far more diligent to insure she was providing correct information and giving the customer the best value possible. Furthermore, when a customer has a valid concern it should be handled with empathy and a potential solution when and where possible.

After going to your website I verified that the order should have been $12.18 after tax.

We’ve been to multiple Wendy’s locations across both Southern and Northern Ontario. This is by far the worst. The last two visits my burger was smashed - first visit my burger was packed into a ball shape and the last time my patties were broken into multiple pieces and thrown on top of one another.. I cant even describe it. The fries have never once tasted like Wendy’s fries.. whatever oil you guys are using - the fries are just not up to Wendy’s level. I put in a formal complaint to this location through the head quarters website and was left with no response which speaks volumes because any other time Ive ever had an issue at any other location, Ive been contacted within a day or two.
