Wow - great to have another fresh local bakery on the west side. The counter staff are very helpful and willing to give their suggestions and opinions. If you have gluten sensitive family members and looking for some gluten free or for real sourdough for gluten sensitive options - this is amazing. Very disappointed in the carrot cake that was supposed to be a birthday cake. While the flavours and spices in the cake itself were good, the "cream cheese" icing was terrible. It was too sweet and, if it had any cream cheese at all, we couldn't tell. Presentation: 1) the icing looked like it was dropped on in a blob and let to run. We do like it’s a bakery, but unfortunately most times we go there, they don’t have soup and they always have the same three types of sandwiches. We work in the area and usually now just go to Nesters that has a better selection.
