Raku holds a special place among the array of restaurants we explore in West Vancouver. It has become one of our go-to spots, consistently delivering a delightful dining experience. One of the key factors that sets Raku apart is its commitment to using fresh ingredients, which is evident in the vibrant flavors of their dishes. The attentive and friendly service provided by the staff adds to the overall enjoyment.
What truly captivates me about Raku is its captivating interior design, characterized by a strikingly high ceiling that adds a sense of grandeur and spaciousness to the dining area. It creates an ambiance that is both sophisticated and welcoming, making each visit an immersive experience.
When it comes to the menu, my taste buds dance with joy at the mention of their delectable lamb chops. The succulent, perfectly cooked meat, infused with flavors that make every bite a delight, is a true testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs at Raku. Additionally, their deluxe sashimi don is a work of art, featuring a medley of the freshest and finest sashimi cuts that melt in your mouth, accompanied by an assortment of complementary ingredients that elevate the dish to a symphony of flavors.
Raku has undoubtedly become a cherished destination for us, a place where we savor not only the exceptional food but also the overall dining experience. It comes as no surprise that I wholeheartedly recommend Raku to anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey in...
Read moreI went this restaurant with my niece who was visiting me from Japan. This place is nearly new so I was excited. Restaurant itself was clean, bright n open but I felt this is not Japanese food restaurant like using previous restaurant without renovation. We set inside n got menu but the server left us about 15 min( btw place wasn’t busy n had 3 servers) so I had to ask her to come n took order.... My niece ordered Oyakodon. I ordered karaage n salmon don. Karaage n salmon don were ok , not impressive but edible not fishy. Oyakodon... oh my... its not oyakodon... its like bbq chicken with egg n mashroom. Taste fine but my niece was really disappointed bc it was not authentic. I was so sad to choose this place bc I wanted her to taste good Canada’s Japanese food. I should be gone to Zen. Price was reasonable but I won’t be back. Around there has lots better sushi place( like zen, kin n bene I like kin bc cost performance n service are great).
