i love to try new sushi places. Ordered spicy tuna sashimi for take out at Kin Sushi in West Vancouver. Staff were not that welcoming at first. But I asked how their day was going and that tended to open up a bit of conversation. When I went to office to enjoy my sashimi, noticed the size was less than half of what I usually get at other sushi places in the lower mainland. Phoned and spoke to staff politely and calmly and shared that their sashimi was too small compared to other places. They said “sorry this is our size of take out order”. They also said they cannot do anything about it. Obviously I felt short-changed and wanted to give the staff opportunity to make it right. But unfortunately, they fell short. Sorry to say that I would not and could not recommend Kin Sushi for value and for atmosphere. Hope this is...

The worst place I’ve been to. This is not even funny.

Garbage food and The worst customer service. Just look at these ugly rolls … the ugliest things that were falling apart when picked up. Total waste of time.

Place was completely empty and I asked to move 2 tables together so my kids would have more space and I got rejected. We were the only people there and she didn’t let us move 2 tiny table together saying “for people that might come”.

I don’t think anyone will come unless you hire professionals who understand what customer service is. Guys at the kitchen kept laughing who knows why, all the time. They kept talking and laughing.

When we asked why rolls are so small, she replied “instead of 6 pieces we slices it to 8, that’s why they are different”.

Who asked to slice them? Why they are so...

This sushi joint boasts a fresh and cost efficient menu. Whilst it isn't the most mind blowing sushi I ever had, it's very good and doesn't taste overly-salty. A great and convenient location just off the coastal walk and therefore an awesome spot to grab some sushi and go eat on the beach which is a 2 minute walk away with plenty of logs and benches to perch. I was pretty bummed about the Wakame seaweed salad as they charged like 6 bucks and stuffed a load of lettuce in there to bulk it up. I always choose Wakame salad which is only seaweed with sesame seeds at other sushi places I regularly eat at. Apart from that, the portions were generous for the price and yummy sushi. The restaurant itself is clean, friendly and comfortable with very pleasant staff, no current indoor seating due to...

Kin Sushi - A Delightful Experience! I recently dined at Kin Sushi in West Vancouver and had an absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with a warm ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. The menu offers a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes. I highly recommend trying their signature rolls – they are both creative and delicious! The fish was fresh and the presentation was beautiful. We also enjoyed some of their hot dishes, which were equally impressive. Overall, Kin Sushi is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Japanese cuisine in a relaxed and friendly setting. I will definitely be returning soon!
