Burger Baron — Restaurant in Western Mature Area

I live 30 minutes away from this Burger Baron location, but if I ever want Burger Baron again, this is the only location I’ll drive to. It’s absolutely worth the trip!

Plenty of parking, incredibly friendly staff, quick service, and the food comes out hot and fresh every time.

Now, let’s talk about the food. I ordered the Swiss mushroom burger, deep-fried pickles, and deep-fried mushrooms. Both the pickles and mushrooms were cooked to absolute perfection. They were so good that by the time I finished my 30-minute drive home, there wasn’t a single one left—I couldn’t stop eating them! All I had left to eat at home was my burger. That’s how tasty they were.

The Swiss mushroom burger was just as good as I expected. I know each Burger Baron location is independently owned, but I fully recommend this one based on the exceptional quality of food and service.

Little drive in that creates the ubiquitous Burger Baron family of burgers. There are a few other items like grilled ham and cheese sammies, donairs, etc. but it's the burgers you'll want.

The patties themselves aren't anything to write home about; it's the garnishes. My all time favourite (and judging by the other orders coming through) is the mushroom cheese. It's basically Campbell's mushroom soup with fresh mushrooms and fake cheese slice but there's something about the combination. The bun is the old school white with sesame seeds: no bot the brioche here! My other other fave is the Canadian and it's got a lot of lettuce, tomato, slice of ham, and their "famous" red sauce which is combination of ketchup and (I think) soy sauce.

The donairs are made with actual meat from a spit, not the fake stuff in packages.

A good place to grab a quick Saturday lunch...

Customer experience: they are really friendly at this location. The inside is usually clean and everything on the menu is pretty clear

Products: I'd have to say for a burger place, I'm really impressed with their donairs. The burgers are also well done too but some places just have one item that's good, the menu is definitely a great recommend on most items. I've tried a variety of different options and haven't been disappointed yet.

Possible improvements: maybe need to vamp up a bit more. Definitely a dated location and it can be a bit more with newer signs and advertising. As for menu items, would be a good idea to make a Facebook group or a website that lists specials and unique combo deals. This will definitely bring...
