Updated after reply Raw Burgers I visited boardwalk burgers on a Tuesday. It wasn’t busy at all. I was excited to try them out for the first time. I was greeted by the cashier as soon as we walked in which was nice. I proceeded to order the boardwalk burger combo along with a chipotle burger. Within about 5-7 mins of ordering we got our food. Me and my wife were surprised at how quick we got the food also a bit skeptical if our food would be cooked properly.

To our surprise the burgers were actually raw. As me and my wife were eating our burgers my wife pointed out theirs parts of the burger that were bright pink. And as I looked at my burger closely I found the same.

I went to the employee and told him that I didn’t want to give him a hard time but this is what we’ve encountered. He apologized to me and told me he didn’t know why this happened. Which was nice but not a solution to the issue. I felt shocked that he didn’t offer us to remake the food or even refund us. So I thought I’d make a review as this was unacceptable. At that point I didn’t argue or say anything further as it had been a long day and left the restaurant.

I replied to the email as the restaurant told me to send them an email. I have gotten no reply back. Goes to show that the restaurant want to look good publicly by replying to the bad reviews. They don’t do anything to make it up to their clients bad experience. Not...

My mother was telling me about how amazing this place was and how great the service and food was. She and I decided to go for lunch. My treat. So we pull up and she hands me coupons cause we are savvy people and we go through them. We chose to get the bogo French fry deal. Sounded so good and we were beyond hungry. We get in and the cashier is on the phone taking an order for a large catering so we stand there and wait.... at about the 4 minute mark he bangs on the pick up window to get the other guy out from the kitchen to take our order. When he finally comes out we order and go to sit down. We placed our order at 12:23 pm. We sit and talk for a while.... 3 people walk in and walk out due to the long wait for service. 10 minutes pass by, 20 mins pass by and at about 12:52 our food finally comes out. I go to taste a fry as my mom grabs us forks and napkins... the fries were ice cold and soggy. I mention it to her and we mention it to the cashier. He claims they just came out of the fryer... so they take them back. Not even 3 mins later they come back out and they were still ice cold. I just said to my mom screw it I am hungry. We eat and leave... would I come back again? Maybe not. It was very disappointing and such a shame after hearing nothing but good things from my mom and brother...

The service was fantastic! I can’t remember how to spell their names, but the two gentlemen working- Caran and Kavee- (I butchered the spelling 🤦🏻‍♀️) were extremely friendly, and very helpful. They brought everything to our table on a tray - including condiments! Was fantastic service! 5/5 ⭐️

We both got burger combos with fries. He got a milkshake with peanut butter and chocolate mixed. It was phenomenal! I passed on the milkshake and went for dessert instead. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake without the strawberry puree. It was good, would be nice to have alternative sauces (like chocolate or caramel).

We both liked the fries! Perfect amount of crisp. I don’t remember what he got, but I got the very basic cheeseburger minus garnish. It was pretty pink inside. I’d compare it to a medium steak. I wasn’t able to finish it. I also noticed that they don’t melt the cheese on the burgers, they put it on after. I think they would taste much better if the cheese melted while the burger was cooking as opposed to putting a cold piece of cheese on top of a freshly cooked burger.
