First time ordering at this place, quality of the food wasn’t that great, Ordered a large sea food hot sour soup, it was not spicy at all it was so salty, it contained only krab sticks ( imitation crab meat ), no squid at all three shrimps in total. And Choi main again it was so salty with Ajinomoto, again with very limited meat and no Vege.
For Hakka food quality of this food wasn’t too great, Normally Hakka restaurants in Scarborough, Markham areas they make it with quality and good quantity, this one only had quantity not the great quality.
And I hated the fact they, they put the hot hot food into plastic containers that melts, restaurants should start using microwable containers that can don’t melt with hot food
Update Jan 2025 - I got the second order from this place today, I caught the cashier guy cheating the customers. My total was $43.60 and he just told it’s $44 because it was even number I asked for bill and caught it was $43.60 when I asked him why he said $44 he said sorry and gave me the change .. also on the phone they said 10% discount on cash and on receipt it it was only 5% On top of everything I didn’t like the fact cashier don’t give receipts and sum up the totals

Read moreI tried Fine Taste Hakka Chinese Restaurant and ordered their Special Leg and Back Fried Rice and Noodles, and overall, the food was quite good. The fried rice itself was flavorful and well prepared, with that distinct Hakka style seasoning that makes it stand out from regular fried rice. The highlight was definitely the crispy chicken pieces that came with it, nicely fried, juicy inside, and adding a satisfying crunch and flavor to the dish. It was hearty, filling, and definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a good fried rice option in the area.
That said, while the food was enjoyable, there is definitely room for improvement in customer service and interaction. The way staff engage with customers plays a big role in the overall dining or takeout experience, and here it felt like that aspect was lacking. A warmer, friendlier approach would really elevate the experience and complement the quality of the food.
All in all, Fine Taste Hakka delivers on taste and quality in their dishes, but they could benefit greatly from focusing more on customer interaction and service to make the experience just as enjoyable as the...
Read moreWorst Customer service By the Man who was on the Front desk.
Upon visiting Fine Taste Hakka Chinese Restaurant, I encountered a staff member( the Fat man) whose approach to service was deeply disappointing. The individual in question displayed a level of rudeness that was both surprising and unwelcome in a hospitality setting. His manner of speaking and interacting with customers was far from the professional standard expected in the service industry. This behavior not only created an uncomfortable atmosphere but also cast a shadow over the establishment’s reputation. It’s imperative for any business, especially one in the food service sector, to understand that the way customers are treated is as crucial as any other aspect of the business. as the male staff member’s discourteous attitude proved to be a significant deterrent to what should have been a pleasant experience. It is my hope that this feedback serves as a constructive critique, prompting a re-evaluation of customer service training and standards at the...
