We visited OneTen with some friends for dinner back in April 2025. It's a nice little spot in Whitby, formerly the home of Brother's Restaurant which was also a popular dining place for locals. The atmosphere was modern and pleasant, perfect to enjoy a dinner party. We ordered a few drinks, appetizers, dinner and finally desert. I tried the Cinnamon Toast Old Fashioned. For all you Old Fashioned fans, as per the menu and not tariff driven, this is made from Canadian whisky. I have tried OF with whiskys other than Bourbon, but nothing beats the flavour of Bourbon, so I can't give the Cinnamon Toast OF a 5/5...it's ok...3.5/5 As for the starters, 5/5 for sure. We started with the Shrimp Cocktail which was very fresh. We also had the Cast Iron Baked Brie, also a very good choice as you can't go wrong with baked brie with crackers. I also really like the complimentary table bread, served warm with butter. For dinner we ordered the following, and I'll rate it 6/5 (LOL) which deliciously presented and my mouth watered just looking at it (see the mouth watering pictures LOL): Brioche Beef Sliders (appetizers big enough to be a meal). 16oz Bone In Rib Eye, with mashed potatoes, asparagus and crispy onions. Blackend Basa, served with rice, asparagus. Herb Crusted Salmon, with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Cinnamon Bun Cheesecake for dessert. Our dinner was delicious, service was excellent and I'm not going to knock my rating because of the drink, as OneTen's food was so enjoyable, I won't do that. If you're in the Whitby Ontario area, please try this out...you won't be dissapointed.

Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, 110 Kitchen offers a dining experience that feels both warm and sophisticated. From the moment we stepped inside, the inviting atmosphere set the tone for an excellent evening. The decor is a tasteful blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, creating a space that’s perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who made us feel like valued guests. What stood out most was the personal touch: the owner, who we discovered is also the owner of Goldies Cafe in Ajax, made a point to come over and chat with us. This gesture added a layer of hospitality you don’t often find. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. We started with the fig and brie chicken sandwich, a delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors that melted in the mouth. For mains, the 16-ounce ribeye stole the show—perfectly cooked, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and beautifully prepared vegetables. The salmon dish was equally impressive, with its delicate seasoning and flaky texture highlighting the quality of the ingredients. The drink and cocktail menu deserves special mention. From creative signature cocktails to a curated selection of wines and spirits, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 110 Kitchen is the kind of place where excellent food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming ambiance come together seamlessly. Whether you’re a regular at Goldies Cafe or new to the owner’s vision, this restaurant is sure to leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended

Tried for the first time the other day and I was very pleased. It's such a refreshing change of pace to have this scale of a restaurant in town- the last thing any city/town needs is more casual eateries. The atmosphere was nice, decor is tasteful and up to date. The staff is friendly and welcoming and everyone was very attentive. We had a steak entree and a salmon entree. Both were cooked perfectly and the flavours were wonderful! I do wish the portions were a touch bigger for the price though. Overall, I would come back to try other things on the menu as the quality seems worth it. It's a great spot to come for a dinner with friends, a date night or even a work event. They do take reservations as well, which I might recommend as we went on a Friday night at 8pm and it was busy!

It was okay but probably won't go again. Especially not as a group or 8 or more.

First, we were a group of 30 people. We made the reservation for 30 people. They didn't sit us together. They had a number of high tables which seats 2 to 6 people each. They put us in groups of 2, 4 or 6 at these tables. A few people with my group were surprised they didn't seat us at the larger tables on the other side of the restaurant. It is important to note, we made the reservation well in advance and confirmed numbers days before. They didn't bring all our food out at once.

When we got our bills, everyone was charged an automatic gratuity of 18% because it was a large group. According to our server, the computer just automatically does that when it is a group of 8 or more. But we were numerous groups of 2, 4 or 6. I understand charging an automatic gratuity because getting everyone served together is an added challenge and therefore deserves an automatic gratuity. But seating us in groups of 2, 4 or 6 then charging us a gratuity because we are a group of 8 or more doesn't make sense. They just didn't seem prepared to accommodate large groups.

I ordered the steak frites, which comes with a steak, seasoned fries and rocket (arugula). I didn't order a salad because I figured this comes with greens. I was a little disappointed at the quantity. There was maybe two mouthfuls of arugula. No dressing on it but I'm okay with that.

I ordered the steak rare mostly because restaurants usually reserve the best cuts of meat for rare or medium rare. The steak was a little tough at parts. It came pre-cut in multiple strips. It came out well before the other person sitting at my table. It was lukewarm when it arrived. It was cold my the time the other person at my table was served.

The fries were okay but nothing special. It was something I could have made at home.

The server never came by to see if everything was okay. I feel I never really had a chance to voice many of the concerns I'm posting here. By the time the server did come to my table it was to present the bill. She didn't wait for me to read it or say anything. In the end, when she came back I voiced my concern about the automatic 18% gratuity. After giving a few excuses, she removed the automatic gratuity and let me pick what I would tip.

It wasn't horrible service so I tipped 15% and decided to not go there again.

I think groups or 2 or 4 would be better at this restaurant. I'm still on the fence about the food quality. But the price of the food...

I went for lunch with my friend, empty restaurant we are the only clients ,waitress is asking if I have reservation. sitting us at the smallest table for 2 with entire empty place, took her 50 minutes to bring my tea. No choice of teas only elgray or orange pickle. Cup for tea was dirty, when I asked for new cup she said it is only coffee stains. food was less than avaregae, no taste at all, even sault and pepper didnt help much after asking waites to bring it to us at the end since she ignored us when I was motioning at her few times. Few people came in looked at the menue and left or had appetizer and left. WE were only customers in the restaurant and server just didn't care ,came to ask us how is the food at the end after motioning few times at her. Just not worth and waste of the money plus bad taste in the mouth after the meal and treating not the best way by the waitress, speaking slang and not paying any attentions to us and we were the only customers for half and hour. People came for few minutes and left after apetizer and we were alone with to waitresses and no service except when she came to ask if we want the bill,"it felt is like it is time to leave" how unprofessional. No fancy restaurant ask You if You want the bill unless You ask for it. Parking was empty and easy to park because clients come and leave ,for the prices food is maybe fresh but no taste at all. Just a joke trying to be fency restautant. Staff enjoing chats between themselfs and who cares about customes. Owners need to check on the place sometimes unless they want to close soon. Empty restaurant , trying to seat us at the smallest table because they are expecting reservation at 5.30. For sure I will not be back and I will tell everyone who I know about the...

I am blown away! This place is honestly with out a doubt the best restaurant I've ever been to. As someone who works in the restaurant industry I rarely go out as I know too much and end up disappointed everywhere else, but not here.

This place was absolutely fantastic. We came for a 515 reso and for some reason our reso wasn't there, but that was no problem they accommodated us still. We ordered some starters (bruschetta and wings)-mind blown. The bruschetta was beautifully plated and delicious, but the wings were truly to die for. I used to work for a Wing restaurant and to this day I've never had a wing melt in my mouth the way this did.

I ordered the foragers chicken as a main and my friend the herb crusted salmon. We split the protein as the sides were the same. I'm so glad we did. The chicken was beautifully cooked and so flavourful. The salmon was to die for! Round of applause for the chef and crew as these meals absolutely blew my mind.my other friends got the steak fries and buddha bowl and their meals were amazing to.

For dessert we got the cinnamon bun cheesecake and our waiter surprised us with the mini churro donuts as we were so indecisive as everything sounded amazing. I could've cried the dessert was so delicious. They were the perfect amount of sweet and rich.

The service was also amazing! We had a team service in the lounge area. Our bartenders Shannon and I feel horrible but I did not catch the girls name. They rocked it! I can't even remember a time where service came even close to the level these 2 delivered. They were on top of everything including giving awesome recommendations. This place is absolutely amazing and I would recommend to anyone. If I could give them more then a 5...
